i just want us playing the way we did during the streak. back then we had better goaltending and guys could actually score a goal. i’m not seeing the same offense from our defense. plus nico has dried up, bratt is invisible except for when he’s missing breakaways. what the hell changed? other teams adjusting to us? palat/bastian? they need to figure out what is so different and make adjustments.

we can't, teams have our system understood now.

before, teams would attack and we'd smoothly counterattack because they'd overcommit in our zone

now? teams play tight to our forecheckers and are almost always prepared to fight in the neutral zone. we can't do shit anymore, and lindy/team hasn't adjusted

One thing I notice is that NJ doesn’t cheat enough. They don’t clutch and grab sticks enough they don’t chop guys in the low back after thr whistle they don’t spray snow at the goakie after thr play they don’t just put their heads down and run over the goalie. Other teams do this stuff and get minimally penalized because of game management. NJ needs more of it.

Whole team is ass. Maybe except for Mercer tonight. Nico has had good shifts but horrible finishing. Horrible finishing team wide. They all look like Haula.

I think our offense isn't as good as they were doing and losing Palat hurt us more than it even seemed. And of course Bastian is important too.

This team really can't afford to lose a top 6 forward like Palat, we just got lucky because Hischier+Bratt started scoring a lot and Bastian really caused the 4th line to gel and we had every line firing off. I think you get Palat back and the lines can even out a bit more offensively and we can get rid of dead weight like Holtz or Bovquist.

This is the norm? Huh. I can’t say I’ve ever seen a team finish this poorly for any extended period. This seems very obviously not normal. There’s bad finishing and then there’s…this.

Florida lost their best player and other teams play chippy all the time and it’s careless or an accident when a Devil gets hurt but nothing comes of it .

No one wants to hear it and I don’t really care right now either with this L streak, but there aren’t many teams that have out chanced and out shot Carolina like this.

Means **** all in the standings, but this team isn’t shit…with the one caveat being the goaltending. If it stinks again, we’re in actual trouble.

If I were Fitz, im not wasting a season here. Thank you Lindy but please take the rest of the season off. And give the reigns to Burnette.

This team isn’t getting caved in. But these constant mental mistakes has to end, regarding these odd man rushes that are increasingly getting worse.

I think (or at least I really hope ) that Fitz adds a piece if this streak keeps on. I can’t see him sitting on his hands and does nothing to try to stop the bleeding.
We need to do something to get going . I hope he is talking to Grier on Meier .

I used to do that when I play roller goalie, I wouldn't do it on ice on though because of being scared of other players blades on exposed skin lol.

Oh, I wouldn't do that, that's definitely asking for a skate slash injury.

But I did deliberately cultivate an air of weirdness. Being a goalie lets you get away with a lot, and being a decent to good goalie even more.

Yup. History shows this is pretty normal for these players. They are pretty damn good at generating chances, but simply not good at finishing them.

the only team below us is buffalo, and they're hot rn. if we're gonna get caved in the neutral zone, then we should be dumping/chasing a lot better, and hitting to gain possession. seems we only try to force o-zone entries, and that gets broken up a ton these days
