Other goalie gets wins, this goalie doesn't anymore. And I've been vocal about the other goalie too.

And he has a penchant for giving games away late. That happened in the Washington game that he played that started his losing streak, where we were also outplayed. And it happened again tonight.

Right now he's looking more like if the 13-14 creamains of Brodeur f***ed the 19-20 cremains of Schneider and they produced a baby together. Albeit in a small sample size.

Thank god he played THREE games this month. And it will only be 3 unless they DARE start him two in a row and give him the humpty team of the back to back on the 31st.

Only goal on Allen really is the first one. The Devils were not as good tonight but still deserved a point out of this game. The call on Meier changed the game. The Refs were pretty bad tonight. The Devils just have a hard time winning more than 3 or 4 in a row and ita really frustrating but at the same time they are in a great spot. Not worth getting upset over a loss like this too much. I got a feeling they are going to torch the west coast this upcoming week.

i have lots of thoughts about this game but my biggest take away is that i f***ing love this team.

the canes are gonna get it from us if we play them in the playoffs, they needed the refs to help them in both games and we took it to them when we both played our #1 goalies.

this team knows what they have to do, and for the first time in a LONG time, they know exactly how to do it. this was honestly best case scenario for a loss.

the coach is pissed, the players are pissed, the hatred is boiling and i’ve never felt better about our chances against them specifically in the playoffs.

the kids will be alright. let’s go devils

That one from a game management perspective was crazy.

They just called an iffy 5 minute major where the injured player ended up not being injured. Refs should have been looking for a makeup call.

Instead the ref ignored an actual penalty that happened right in front of him. What was the ref thinking pretending he didn’t see a penalty there?

The second was A LOT worse than the first.

And again, he has a penchant lately when he plays (thank god he doesn't often, only 3 games in the month of December and fourth to last was on November 30th, 0-4-0 in those games) for giving away games late after starting off strong, but imploding late in the 2nd or by the 3rd.

He did that in the Washington game where we were also outplayed.
