Instead the ref ignored an actual penalty that happened right in front of him. What was the ref thinking pretending he didn’t see a penalty there?

Well, I've trashed Markstrom this year and I think I was irrational at times with that. He gave us a GOOD month of December.

Allen hasn't given us a good game since like Thanksgiving, though he's barely played and thank god of it.

I'm sorry for trashing Markstrom a couple weeks ago. Clearly we wouldn't have won that many games if Jake the drain snake played a couple of those Markstrom games.

Unfortunately finish the 2 games worse than we started. Same point with the Canes but now the Caps have 4 games in hand instead of 3.

The same thing happened in the Washington game. He was the only reason we were in that game either at the end of the 2nd or start of the 3rd. Then he pulled off a masterful heel turn with the late implosion, which happened again tonight.

Not scoring on the shorthanded chances and then Nico also not scoring right after the 2-2 goal plays a big role as well. You have to bury those against Dustin f***ing Tokarksi

Here's my opinion on Rogalski as of real time.

I'm not crediting him for Markstrom this year, nor am I condemning him for Allen.

Allen has a history of not being good in his NHL career. It happened when he was younger. Combine that with an aging goalie. And he's pretty old looking too. I was looking at his head shot next to Tokarski's early in the game. Can't believe Tokarski is a year older. He looks like he could have 5 years or more on Tokarski.

it's 100% biased reffing

and to be fair, game management does have a time and place - like if someone took out crosby over joe schmo, there's a big difference in keeping things sheriffed. but the whole thing was very slipshod

It’s annoying that we can’t string together more wins and get some momentum going.

I really just want to hear the phrase “9 game heater” come out of Jack’s mouth again.

Ah well, now let’s get some wins against weaker competition on the western road trip.
