I still can’t get over how bad last night’s officiating was lmao

It was particularly bad last night, but it's closer to the norm than anything resembling good officiating.

It’s kind of amazing that over a decade we went from the pinnacle of goalie SV%, part of a lengthy goalie golden age, to the current massive drop.

Didn't they shrink the size of chest and shoulder pads on goalies around 2019?

Between that, overall skill of forwards, and changes in style of play have made an impact on sv% in recent years

I hate that we traded Bardakov for macDermid. I know there were questions about his willingness to come over but with us needing centers so badly and his fitting that 4C mold it is a real puzzler

Really doesn't make sense to have a player that can't play every game....or even half of them.

You also know that you are never going to dress him during a single playoff game. It's just a waste.

I and others said this like the minute he signed, but people were like nah you need that for a deterrent lol
