I don't know if he's overstayed his welcome just yet, but a single second of him on the roster after training camp of next year has started and he's definitely overstayed.

He needs to go.

We'd be f***in fools to keep him around and give him a multi-year deal. That's almost worth a firing in the front office if he gets a multi-year deal.

Unless it's for like what Janne Kuokkanen just got.

A one year is okay, but I'd trade him for free before I signed him to any multi-year deal.

That's a good way to start f***ing up the salary cap and Pavel Zacha isn't worth any kind of commitment at this point.

A one year deal at his qualifying offer ($3 million) and then losing him for free is far better for the organization than committing long term.
