A one year is okay, but I'd trade him for free before I signed him to any multi-year deal.

That's a good way to start f***ing up the salary cap and Pavel Zacha isn't worth any kind of commitment at this point.

A one year deal at his qualifying offer ($3 million) and then losing him for free is far better for the organization than committing long term.

Im okay with that. Pavel Zacha is pretty inconsequential to me nowadays, and Im tired of remembering what I thought hed be for us six years ago :/

But a two year deal would prevent a team from needing to go to arbitration and would be a year of UFA control. Figure if any team would want Zacha for a possible breakout, they wouldnt want him to hit UFA right after if he did

But whatever Fitzgerald chooses to clear his roster spot and spread out his minutes, Im okay with.

I didn't even know this Lechysyn (I couldn't spell that name in 96, I can't spell that name in 22) existed until fairly recently, but I figured with a name like that, he had to be the son of Curtis, if not a nephew.

That surname is too uncommon, although there were two different Petr Sykora's, with the same exact spelling, both from the same place and were not related.

Same with the two Sebastian Aho's.
