Like Erica, but not nearly as cute.
Are we taking about you to your wife here? Between waking her up for the “celebration” and that “compliment” you may have just paid her I’m going to give you my wife’s business card to give to your wife just before she kicks you out of thr house.

I don’t think he’s quite as skilled or quite the skater but he’s stronger and his shot is better

I don't think Coleman's more skilled. Coleman's definitely faster which probably makes him a bit better on the forecheck but Zetterlund's really strong there as well and has been great defensively. Early return on the cards is something that looks EERILY similar to Coleman

I do think that the staff deserves credit.

I don’t know who, I don’t know if it’s Lindy, I don’t know if it’s the 3 new assistants or a collective combination of everybody, but I do think the coaches deserve some credit here. The players play and they’re out there playing. We have really good players, but I don’t think anybody expected some of these games where we’re outshooting teams the way we are.

I don’t see how anyone can complain about the systems to this point.

I don’t think all credit goes to Lindy, but he’s at least done his part in not making Fitz look foolish for making the decision to keep him around another year, after what looked like an almost guaranteed firing after last year.

And I do think we would have won this on 3 on 3 or even the shootout if we didn’t get that power play.

I think we had a better chance of losing this in the 3rd period than in OT or even a shootout.

Why? Just a gut feeling. Obviously we’re probably a more dangerous team at 3 on 3 than them, even if we were mostly spent by that point.

It would have been interesting to see our shootout lineup. At least we know Palmieri wouldn’t have been one of the first 3 shooters.

Yes, I’m still making that joke an entire year and some change after Palmieri’s departure.

I think it's addition by subtraction of Nas and Reechi.

Youre not allowed back. These are the rules.
Haha, ill be back but ill bring this lovely US bar culture with me.

I had the time of my life.

Srsly. I was in the same bar on Thurs vs Edm. When i walked into the bar on Thursday, this pretty woman walked to me and knocked my Devils hat off my head to the floor.

Today i found only one free seat at the counter, next to a pretty lady (great, right?) and went for it. Looked at my left: it was the same woman from Thursday lol

So i went to her: "Arent you the lady that knocked my hat off on Thursday?"

She obviously denied everything, very loud so everyone heard that part, but then she subtly whispered to me, with a voice like the elf Arwen in LotR, 'f*** the Devils'.

5 minutes later she admitted that she was a huge Rags fan. And she was from Oklahoma.

I didnt go home alone, though. I went home with a W.

f*** the Rangers

Recchi was definitely a huge impediment on this team and I don’t think you’ll find anyone that disagrees there. He was a definite sandbag to the power play.

I’m not anti-Nas but he served under 3 different head coaching (one of them was himself) tenures here and was possibly our longest tenured full time NHL assistant (not including goalie coach Caron or special assignment coaches) ever. So I think we needed the change.

I’m 100% confident that Vitek Vanecek is the best goalie in the organization.

Now, that could either be our blessing or that could be our curse.

I’m not sold on him being a particularly good starting goalie either, but I am extremely confident that he’s the best goalie in the organization at this current time.

That could either be a strength or a downfall and weakness. We’re gonna have to keep tuning in to find out.

Annoying thing is Calgary fans will be bitching about the pen that was called (if it was us I'd be livid too)

I hope they get worked hard by the isles on Monday, idgaf if the isles even win

Lindholm doesn't even need to take that penalty, it was just pure laziness. He could've gotten Marino or at least annoyed him enough on the back check.

Naz was an imbecile ,in the good Ol’ boys club. Only bread in he was around for as long as he lasted . Our current coaching staff is light years ahead of prior ones . So much better stick work , little subtle plays , they run a number of set plays that work very well.
When at the game it was cool to see shit you normally wouldn’t pick up by watching on TV
On our uncontested breakout , when one of our D has it , our C will yell / mogul for the pass or he will waive him off if he button hooking and wants to go for a change . It’s hard to explain but was cool to see little things like that
