I'm not so bad, enjoying having attended a very memorable game last night where my team of choice pulled off a tense victory. Thanks for asking! So how's everyone doing?

It was entertaining, right? Two fun games between those twoI'm not so bad, enjoying having attended a very memorable game last night where my team of choice pulled off a tense victory. Thanks for asking!
We're only human, pal.I love this response. Justifying their actions is impossible but you're going to justify it.
"They paid a lot and were very sad." Or the whataboutism you used with the World Cup is awesome.
And finish off with the conspiracy theories.
Awesome post. You've hit the trifecta.
What is interesting about sports fans is that they think that their team winning is somehow a personal accomplishmentThe best part of the inning streak was seeing salty fans of other teams fanbase chime in here while their team won 0 cups during our 2012-13 to 2021-22 years of being bad (minus the 2017-18 season). They kept trying to shit on our parade and than when you look to see what team they root for you can understand why they are so bitter haha.

This . Yes it’s wrong to throw shit but I am thinking that if I was there in person , being wrapped up in the intensity and emotions , seeing a winning streak on the line and having 3 goals disallowed PLUS Murray accidentally on purpose pushing the net off when they were pinned in their own zone…I can see how a person would be easy to have a brain cramp and follow suit.
Also, there was hardly any replays of the three disallowed goals shown at the arena, so most people there couldn’t see what exactly happened, just that 3 goals were taken back .
If the refs would have called a delay of game penalty Or unsportsmanlike penalty against the Devils after they threw shit…. and the Leafs scored ….there would have been people going ape shit and I can sympathize with them.
Maybe you should learn the rules of hockey. Jobbed. Lol. All 3 calls were the right calls. Be mad all you want. Doesn’t make the calls any less right. If you are still mad try holding your breatheJust so I understand; you feel that there's no place in a thread like this to discuss the underlying reasons why some fans chose to do what they did? Justifying their actions is impossible; but if you've just shelled out a weeks salary to see a team in which you're emotionally vested get completely jobbed by the refs on a couple of dicey borderline calls and one blown call... It's more than understandable. If that was a world cup soccer game people would've died.
I fully expect to see more of this shit, esp. when it comes to higher ticket prices, and calls going the big market big $$$ team.'s way.
Maybe the Leafs should play in armor, then.
Buddy I've played hockey for over 20 years. It's in both players to know where they are. Murray backed into him and like other have posted before this EXACT same thing happened to the Devils and the league counted it. The league is so inconsistent when it comes to its own rules that its borderline unwatchableYou're a casual and have never skated before if you think he dove there. Murray is looking the other way and has no idea that Tatar is about to skate between him and the net there. It's fully on Tatar to know where he is and do everything to avoid contact there, he did not do anything to change course.
Why? He leads the team in goals now. The man is having a fantastic season. Right now, his safe space is the entire world. It's not safe for opposing goalies though.
I’m saying the refs didn’t do their job well and seemingly didn’t even know the rule here.
I didn’t think the 2nd goal would count with better refs, typically all collisions like this go in the goalies favor. Goalies are protected and for good reason.
Might be nice if the refs knew the rules better considering it’s their job.
The first goalie interference was cartoonishly weak and a bad call though.
So according to you players can arbitrarily skate into the blue paint of the crease and park themselves beside a goalie. When the shot comes they can prevent the goalie from stretching out a glove or pad to make the save. Makes sense. the blue paint is just to pretty up the ice with more colours. perfect.I’m saying the refs didn’t do their job well and seemingly didn’t even know the rule here.

Well in your 20 years you must have noticed that Goalies and players arent exactly treated the same.Buddy I've played hockey for over 20 years. It's in both players to know where they are. 20 years eh? Thats pretty impressive considering this take you just made. So the goalie wasn't interfered with at all I guess?Buddy I've played hockey for over 20 years. as no-beer-drinker i wouldn't have any other use for it.Who can afford to throw full beers? Those arena beers are expensive as shit!
Because you don't want people kicking pucks at players trying to deflect them into the net? Forget this game, do you really want hockey players trying to kick the puck in skates?People say the third goal was bad.
It was kicked away from the net, Haula was trying to get it to his stick. It then caromed off of two Leaf players.
Since when can you wave off a goal that caroms in? If I kick a puck in any direction and then another player knocks it into his own goal, with a skate or stick, by making it change direction, how is this not a good goal?
All three were actually good goals in 99% of those situations. You could make a really weak case that Bastians skate hit Murray's and that was invincibility contact I'm the crease, but it didn't impede him from making the save.
When the goalie is out of his net, the only path he needs to take is the quickest path back to his net. Tatar a player who can skate anywhere he wants was in Murray's way in getting back to his net and bumped into him. Tatar made absolutely no reasonable effort to avoid such contact and made Murray's fall on his way back to his net hence why that's called goalie interference. That's been the case since forever and it's crazy this constantly needs to be repeated in a hockey forum.Buddy I've played hockey for over 20 years. It's in both players to know where they are. Game management makeup call for not calling Murray for intentionally knocking the net off to get a change after being trapped in the zone for 2 minutes probably. NHL referees are incompetent, nothing new.I am still confused why the refs didn't call a delay of game penalty on the Devils for it.
True, the place might have exploded if they put the Devils on a 5-3 out of all of that.Game management makeup call for not calling Murray for intentionally knocking the net off to get a change after being trapped in the zone for 2 minutes probably. NHL referees are incompetent, nothing new.
