youre not following.... whats your excuse for your fanbases' behaviour THIS time?
You're post wasn't specific perhaps you should think and reread before posting?

coming from the lead apologist of the Habs is funny and cute.

New Jersey is kind of like Toronto because it’s misrepresented in culture and the media because of stereotypes but both are rather diverse populations with high standards of living……… EH.

Calling an entire fanbase that is comprised of multiple ethnic backgrounds a bunch of monkeys...

interesting.:thumbu:
I’m sure you agree with the following.
I’d rather have my fan base throw some root beer on the ice for a few bad calls in one game decided by refs than have my fan base throw jerseys on the ice becuse of 60 years of sucking. Lol.

Translation: Get over it, we all get boned.

Instead of saying that, how about the league is accountable for calling goals on same similar shit or not wiping out similar plays out or we not allowed to have accountability for the league?

Consistency would be cool.

What do you expect posters to say?
Here, I'll throw you a bone.
The nhl got that call wrong from a game that was 3 years ago.

Sweet, glad to see they're consistently doing this then. Doesn't destroy viewership or anything with casuals understanding the sport. Not to mention, both of them got reviewed by the same people. It's not like you can argue a different refs, the situation in Toronto shouldn't differ this much on the same type of goal. They clearly don't know what the f*** they're doing in regards to this. More fans would have respect for the league if they allowed all of those or none of them.

You seem a rational fellow

what do u mean my dude??

people in here applauding throwing shit on the ice like bunch of clowns. throw on the ice should be lifetime ban from the arena in most normal places

then some weirdo starts talking about ethnicity for absolutely no reason trying to get triggered or smth lmao ..maybe check on your boy instead :thumbu:

Sorry, I've read three of your posts now and I can't really take you seriously enough to engage in further conversation

Might want to watch the first goal again. And see that he wasnt stopped from being able to move. His skate was touched and Murray had every chance to move after that. Then he moved his pad and wasn’t interefeeed by Bastian
Also watch the second goal. Tater was skating behind the.m net and moved out of the way from hitting Murray. Tatar has three options. Hit him, go left or go right. He went right and Murray backed into him and then flopped like he was shot.
You can't impede the goalie in any way. It's a rule for a reason. In both cases the rule was broken.

I actually don't think that they got that wrong. I think you can make a good case that was incidental, just as I believe you can make a good case that this one was incidental. And really, that's all it comes down to. The NHL decided it wasn't. That is obviously the opinion that matters and that sucks for Devils fans. I believe it was incidental, you don't, we are both looking at the same thing. Just one of those things. If the situations were reversed, I also couldn't say that I wouldn't see it that way as well. Who knows.

Fans should never throw objects on the ice it's stupid and dangerous, now Devils fans have every right to be upset, the NHL gifted this game to Toronto tonight, 2 of the 3 goals should have counted. It was the only way Toronto could ever beat the Devils I guess. Lol

Can't imagine throwing shit on the ice to begin with, but especially as people are trying to clean it up. Beyond disrespectful.

yeah no, I dont think ANY fans in the league have never littered the ice after having 13 game WINNING STREAK snapped. How freakin spoiled do you have to be?
Thanks for making my point.

Good night

yeah those Blue jays fans were totally disrespectful throwing the beer cans on the field.

Oh sh%t this isn't the MLB board?

Obviously it's a terrible look, but remember in the arena you usually don't get great replays and you don't have an announcer reading the rule book to you. Three goals getting called off in one game in addition to several other calls going against NJ in the context of a close game with a record setting streak on the line is going to piss people off. Let's not pretend like this was a typical situation.

You know the vast, vast majority of people in Toronto were really pissed about that, right? You're in here working overtime to deflect and defend this tonight when in reality people agree that that was a bad look by the Jays fans that did that. I never said that Devils fans were the only fanbase to throw shit, lol. Both were disrespectful.

Hey, I agree with you Refs suck and the league is super inconsistent. But what happened during this game were the right calls. They simply were. It's unfortunate it was 3 disallowed goals on the same team in 1 game. But again, they were the right calls. If anything, the Leafs deserved an extra powerplay.

With that, it's just one game. I wouldn't worry about it. The Devil are doing really really well and will continue their dominate season if they consistently play the way they did today. It's just one of those regular season games that didn't pan out.

Just getting back from the game. For what it’s worth, the Prudential Center replay situation — as usual — was abysmal. For the third called back goal especially, we got a 2 second clip of an overhead frame.

Three goals called back, simmering frustration, no real clarity on what’s going on… plus you always have to account for the Yankees fans in attendance. Not the best look, but whatever.
