Overall, a pretty damn good game considering we didn't have our 2 top C's. St-Louis should be concerned with their performance based on that.

Still can't get over not throwing out any of your 3 goal scorers in the 3rd when it's 4v4 and you need a goal. Like sure you could say Toffoli and Holtz are slow (Meier isn't) but so is Palat.

they have the squad to do it, too. But it's gonna require commitment and a sound structure, and I don't think Ruff's the guy to pull it off.

On the breakout when the other team has sustained pressure, the system certainly relies on individual talent to make it work. Harder when you lose Jack and Nico.

It would be nice if the system helped the guys have some synergy instead of waiting for a guy to talent a solution into existence.
