yes, I don't expect them to run a practice. but the owners have (or should have) some say in the moves Lou is making and the general direction of this franchise
Interesting about the owners, so those that believe Vanderbeek forced Lou to get Kovalchuk want to see more of that? Would love to see them force Lou to get Malkin or McDavid or something like that instead of meddling for the sake of meddling.

Considering that Prudential basically isn't paying for the naming rights anymore in a really strange naming deal... I'm guessing that there's a goal bar, restaurant ledge, something like that. Maybe the "former Verizon" tower? I'm going to assume at least...
I always found it interesting that a prominent company headquartered in Newark/NJ didn't have any sponsorship deals in the arena. Verizon even shares the Devils colors.

Haha he tweeted that after I tweeted him pointing out the coincidences of the Devils/PruCenter follows of PartyPoker on social media yesterday, which fits exactly with the verbiage in their tweets.. Of course TG never gives credit, even via PM

Verizon was a HUGE sponsor when the arena opened. From what I can remember the cylinder style led display that was in the tower caught on fire or broke and the Devils refused to honor their agreement that they would cover the repair or something to that affect and Verizon backed out of the sponsorship deal. I could be wrong but I think that's what happened.
