Seriously? More funnies...the Devils and the arena were a package. The problem they have in the Sixers is it's just the team and no arena. With the Devils and Arena, it's all vertically integrated. They control the content and the arena. The reason why Vanderbeek and the Nets eventually moved as well so that ownership can control the arena as well with no landlord overseeing.
I think you downplay the Devils a bit too much, this is an example of it. You reach when the ownership combined net worth is 9 billion and yet are losing their shirts buying the Devils.
The devils are a secondary concern to the ownership group. They didn't acquire 9 billion dollars by making poor decisions. They were intriqued by the profit potential of the facility. Do you think the devils would have been purchased if they didn't have a spanking new building? Let's be serious here.

The person doing all the tweeting keeps using the wrong accounts for tweets. It's kind of funny.

That whole statement is asinine because they do in fact have a spanking new building. What if the Devils had Sidney Crosby, does Vanderbeek sell? I mean add if they didn't to a lot of scenarios. Just keep adding scenarios to keep this going.
The team would be worth less without the arena. But the arena also would have been worth less alone. An NHL team gurantees them to have at least 41 games/night a year where they don't have to put in extra work to fill the arena.

And it makes sense with the 76ers too, being that they are so close to South Jersey.. Sounds like Party Poker signed an agreement with both teams, being that management is the same, but I'm guessing the majority of that will go into Prudential Center since it's in the state with legal online gambling.. Really hoping for the PartyPoker.com Fire Lounge haha.. Maybe they can throw some computers in there so the rich folks can gamble during games
