Yeah Fitz must either be drunk on optimism after this deal or he’s giving Jesper the bag he wants to be that definitive
I hope it's the latter and if it is, it will DEFINITELY be a bit more than Jack's (and all that talk about how we can't sign players to contracts more than Jack's 'cause we would alienate him or some crap, will finally end)

I'm also more then fine we pulled the trigger without the contract.

Negotiations could have hung the whole deal up and opened the door for a mystery team to swoop in.

We can negotiate at our leisure now
I wouldn’t be surprised if there were “unofficial” talks where they already know the parameters. We will never find out though.

I can’t understand the external people out on the main boards calling this a bad return for SJS. I think they did very, very well here.

I think they did good but I probably would've targeted Holtz instead. I think Holtz would've made more sense for both sides than Zetterlund.

Are they really? I haven't ventured over the main boards yet, thought they'd be saying the opposite and that we gave up too much. I thought the Sharks did well, it was quantity over quality but I think they got a number pieces that can realistically contribute in the NHL.
