They're getting bullied out there by a bunch of 22 year olds who are 5'10. I'm so glad I won't watch this team get slaughtered in the next two and will abroad. What a waste of time it is rooting for this team. Complete waste of time. No one on that team gives two shits/

And there Vally said it. This team played with no urgency. There was no battling. No effort.

That's the big issue for me - down 1 with, what, 7+ minutes to go and got absolutely zero pressure on a green/rookie goalie and did nothing to make the Devils scramble. As disappointed as I've been with this team in a year.

I don’t even wanna hear it about Schmid. Vanecek would’ve had a shutout tonight. They BARELY tested Schmid. Did he make any tough saves? Nothing sticks out for me. Dude was swimming in his crease whenever the puck was in front of him and he was kicking out 29 foot meatballs all night and NOBODY was within ten feet of the net all night. The one time they get in front they score.

Two of the sloppiest, poorly executed and uninspired games I’ve seen this team play. All the worrying about Kane and he’s like the only top 6 guy who has shown up. Kreider when he’s not tipping the puck on the PP is useless, he’s not moving his feet at all and just coasting all over the ice. Panarin and Mika look worse than they’ve looked all season. Choke city.

I saw it as "Devils adjusted, changed their game, found greater success"

NYR have an opportunity to re-adjust to their adjustment.

Somehow I’m still surprised by the dramatic overreactions. That sucked, no doubt. Squandering the 2 game lead sucks also.

The series isn’t over and the team isn’t hopeless and terrible though - have a memory longer than the past week and take a breath.

Literally infuriating. I still don't buy the Devils being a better team.

But honestly, being a better team includes knowing how to turn it on when needed. The Rangers somehow turned it off when needed.

I'll give the Devils this: their defensive system completely stifled our offense. We had no answers.

But we also didn't play with any heart...or talent. What a lifeless, gutless performance. Panarin? Zibanejad? Tarasenko? Kane? Fox? Nothing. ZERO. And for f***'s sake can we get a PMD besides Fox?

Gotta be multi-dimensional. NJD don't need to play run and gun hockey. Clog it up and they can turn it around in a hurry with their speed.

NYR forecheck was far superior in Games 1 and 2. Not sure what happened.
