Last game they actually played well but got shutdown by a new goaltender. That's no excuse this game. Not to mention, they looked awful.

Lets be honest. Devils came to play, Rangers didn't. 2-1 or 3-1. Noone cares about how close a game up. Us being close against the Kings didn't get us the second place Cup.

I know the hatred is on the big guns, however, as I always thought, Chytil is overrated. He makes some dumb plays and takes low percentage shots. His shot is pretty good and hes fast, but he really lacks hockey IQ. The Kid line doesnt work. So overrated.

I'll give the Devils this: their defensive system completely stifled our offense. We had no answers.

This draft isn't the worst time to nuke the core, TBH.

These are the ebbs and flows of the playoffs. Devils countered the Rangers opening punches and when all hope seemed lost they battled back, now the Rangers will counter back themselves. Seen it time and time again. Rangers will regain control of the series and close it out. They are the superior team. Have confidence.

If they fail to win this series, it's time to make a fundamental change to the core.

I'm not saying necessarily trade one of your star players as a fix-all, but they need to actually address the problems.

I appreciate what Kane and Tarasenko do bring to the team, but they've done nothing about the lack of speed.
