Still can’t believe the Devils ended up with the PP after Meier intentionally fell in Igor. Only calling Igor there is a ridiculous call, how do you not take both. And the Devils scored on that pp.

Plus that PK was shit too, why did they give Hughes that time and space to walk in?

This bullshit call was the only reason those jacks wads won. Totally gifted win.

Lindgren low key had a terrible game...hard for Fox to do much when his partner is bobbling the puck, making stupid passes....at some point Lindy was at the point and had to make a simple pass to Fil just a few feet down the boards...and then he shot the puck into Fil's hand instead of just keeping it on the ice. Also hate the way how Lindgren has basically no ability to brace for hits along the boards. He should learn from Fox as to how to avoid checks because he's not going to survive too long in the league playing like that. Few guys really didn't have their brains last night.

We will move on win game 4.

And really, what was with the crowd? People pay $500 to sit on their hands and be nervous all game? Hoping the fans are more rowdy on Monday...and that those corporate seats actually have people in them.

I only see us winning on Monday. This team always needs some tough loss to take it to another gear.

The Islanders games get LOUD.. tickets are under 200$. The energy is completely zapped at Ranger games. They charge almost 400$ for a nose bleed seat. The sort of people that will energize the building aren't going for those prices. It's a shame. That's lovely NYC for ya

Never going to get a raucous crowd at MSG - its so disappointing

Other than the intros and first 5 mins of the game, it felt more like a regular season game last night. I think the players also thought it was one also.

Aren't those secondary market prices? Obviously the Rangers do jack the prices up from their side but I don't think it's 400 face for nosebleeds in round 1. The problem I saw yesterday was that the lower bowl center seats were basically all empty because I'm assuming those people were more interested in the food that is offered in the Club.

Hoping a worknight is a better crowd...maybe less influencers looking for instagram likes at a Saturday night matchup.

Schmid was good and if Vanacek was in we would be up 3-0. I'm not sure Schmid can stymie this offense another 3 times though.

Not true. I really wish we would stop sucking this guy off. The result of this game clearly rests on 1. A bullshit call that they scored on and 2. OUR inability to hit the net. If we hit the net with half of the chances that missed, Vanacek would be back in next game and Lindy would be being lambasted for all of the changes he’s made.

I've been a fan for over 20 seasons and I can think of three series we've won in less than 6 games and one of those we won four games by 2-1 scores. This franchise is middling AF. So tired of it. This is the best team we've had since 94 and it still has ZERO killer instinct.

You know, not for nothing, but what do some of you expect? The Devils just had an incredible season. None of you who liked this comment or you yourself, going into this series, expected this series to go less than five games. These two teams are damn good and rivals. In '94, that team had several HOFers and they had to go seven with Vancouver despite Vancouver having 85 lousy points. Rangers had 112. Canucks were up 3-1 in that series too lol. Against a Messier-led Rangers team. People need to relax.

One of the last Ranger games I was at some bozo yuppie type sat down next to us with some girl after the first period. They spent the entire period yapping about drama, gossiping how Stacey did this and that... blah blah blah. Watch the f***ing game. They had zero interest in it, they moved again in between periods. These are the sorts of bozos we get at games now. A portion of people aren't going because they're fans or want to watch hockey... they're just going for an experience and something to do.

I was kind of low key expecting this. Yeah, give the Devils credit, they HAD to win and we didn't match their desire. Up 1-0, we had multiple chances w/PP to make it 2 goal lead. THAT is where we lost the game. Actually, THAT is where we didn't WIN the game. Imo, we would have if......the big "if".

The team just seemed to be waiting for that those elusive good breaks to happen and they never did. In that sense they did kind of choke. They did not create their own good luck, instead they got sucked into nonsense such as Goodrow's insanely stupid penalty eg.

Yes it sucks that their one missed call created the game tying goal, but let's not pretend we're being jobbed by the refs somehow

This 100%. We should've won this game, we gave it away. You can't not score on 5 PP chances. It's good that we're getting some contributions up and down the lineup but Mika and Panarin have to step it up. AP missed multiple grade A chances last night that he just shouldn't be missing

Rangers have been knocking the debbies on their ass quite well but Trouba needs to pull up into the station on meier next game. I've seen enough of him after that stunt he pulled on Igor...the rest of the team didn't see it happening because the play went to the other way but they need to target him.

You get jobbed by the refs when they make a call that should have gone the other way. Especially with one of the Jackasses standing right there on the goal line watching.

I really don't think this is it. Veteran teams know how to get away with interference...debbies aren't really doing it more than we are. Mika is a f***ing master at getting away with subtle interference if I'm being honest. So is Fox.

Rangers lost because they didn’t score on the PP . You have to be able to overcome adversity in the playoffs. If they aren’t able to win a game because the other team scored one goal in regulation on them then this will be a short play offs
