I tought Guhle was heavier. Still needs to gain more muscle to play his physical game in pro!

Good looking names. But average looking size. Still have some work to do in that department. Forwards are schmalllll.

Well I mean assuming we don't trade Anderson.

Anderson - 6'3
Dach - 6'4
Slaf - 6'3
Armia 6-3
Dvorak 6'2
Poehling - 6'2
Pezetta - 6'1

And Hoffman, Drouin, Evans, Dauphin all 6'0
Dadonov and Suzuki 5'11

The NHL lineup is actually pretty decent size at forward.

Considering he hasn't stopped playing hockey forever, I'm surprised he kept that much weight on lol

that's why i've been saying no to rush him to the NHL next season, he needs more mass and lower body strength, too many times I've seen him pushed by a much smaller player, if that's happening in the WHL, it would be much worse in the NHL. Let him go the AHL and learn and grow there.

I love Josh Roy shot but I am not sure yet about his ability to keep up with NHL talent. He is too good for the Q but he still has a lot to improve before claiming a top 6 role.

I think Farrell could play right now in the NHL, he has very elite skillset, vision and hockey IQ even though he is not the largest guy out there.
We should send him in the Liiga to take Slafkowsky's place

people see what they want to see though. Take a look at the vid I posted, just after the 1 min mark he gets pushed by Kapanen a guy who couldn't even handle Liiga last season. KK was coming off a major knee injury let's not forget, but it's funny how short memories people have. We rushed Galchenyuk, KK and looked what happened, now people are suggesting to do the same thing again and if it doesn't work out you know they will be the first posters saying I f***ing told you to pick Wright, how do you not pick him, etc...

Stop rushing prospects to the NHL, things take time it's ok.
Yeah I was there and after that he just pushed him a little bit against the wall and Kapanen fell in the board. Wasn’t even a hit. I think he can handle the physical part. Not gonna say he will play with the big club next year but let him start in the AHL with Mesar.

Coming back from Brossard,

Slafkovsky is a monster, I was worried to maybe see a KK today but for those who were worried about that I can assure you Slaf is two leagues over KK. The guy is strong on his skates, good vision, excellent hands in short space, good and accurate shot, he even did the move between the legs but got stopped. I was skeptical but now I love the pick.

Farrell, his vision hands and passing abilities are a notch over everyone, I don’t think he is far from the NHL honestly, don’t think he will go AHL.

Hutson, one of the most surprising prospect, his skating reminded me of Mete back in the days, think Mete with hands and vision. Looked sharp in 1 vs 1

Beck, I had to talk about him, I think he will be a top 5 prospect for us by the end of the year, he is def one of my favorite prospect, very good defensively and 1 vs 1, good vision, good hands, excellent hockey IQ

Dichow, was the best G, by far the most athletic in our system.

Roy and Kidney, looked good but another year working on execution will do wonder for them

How was Heineman if you saw enough?

I don't see Mesar going to Laval, he should be in the OHL, there's no need to rush him. I would strongly consider starting Slaf in the OHL as that little push from Kapanen and he couldn't even out body him, but we'll see as they have the rest of development camp, rookie camp, the wjc's, training camp, preseason to watch him. But for a management team that said development is going to be addressed, I just hope they are serious and good at it.

Great scouting report.

absolutely in favor of letting young players excel at lower levels before graduating up.
