He passes the poutine test. Also he hates pineapple on pizza.
Nobody is perfect. It's an acquired taste tho, I still believe in him.

Coming back from Brossard,
Slafkovsky is a monster, I was worried to maybe see a KK today but for those who were worried about that I can assure you Slaf is two leagues over KK. The guy is strong on his skates, good vision, excellent hands in short space, good and accurate shot, he even did the move between the legs but got stopped. I was skeptical but now I love the pick.
Farrell, his vision hands and passing abilities are a notch over everyone, I don’t think he is far from the NHL honestly, don’t think he will go AHL.
Hutson, one of the most surprising prospect, his skating reminded me of Mete back in the days, think Mete with hands and vision. Looked sharp in 1 vs 1
Beck, I had to talk about him, I think he will be a top 5 prospect for us by the end of the year, he is def one of my favorite prospect, very good defensively and 1 vs 1, good vision, good hands, excellent hockey IQ
Dichow, was the best G, by far the most athletic in our system.
Roy and Kidney, looked good but another year working on execution will do wonder for them

Never too late to teach rookies how to make a good pina colada.Talk about 20 years too late
Forgot about Heineman, he looks already NHL ready, I mean his puck protection and shot are really good, you look at him and he has that vibe that he will play in the NHL.Oh yeah, even if it's just pratice, Slafkovsky have too much better tools than KK, better skating ability is already a great thing, because KK with a better skating ability he is a pretty good player. Slafkovsky have better physical ability, don't fall on ice like him. Very happy with this pick, fit perfectly with Suzuki and Caufield.
Thanks for the report about Farrell, i'm high on him, top 6 potential for sure. Beck is going to be a pretty good C in NHL with his tools. Roy and Kidney with a good development they are going to be pretty good NHL players too.
Emil Heineman looks good?
Didn’t notice him a lot, you can see he has good hands but he has to put some weight on. Again it’s only pratice 3 vs 3, 4 vs 4. Would like to see him in a scrimmage. How did Mesar look?

I like his tools and how he looks to project a lot too. I have this feeling he can be one of those guys that will play throughout the lineup, take a shift or two with Suzuki and Caufield and not look out of place for example. Really curious to see how he develops. Thanks, nice to hear that about Heineman. I really like his tools. Him and Ylonen can be really solid together on a 3rd line one day. I already see a Heineman - Beck - Ylonen type of line.
I might get some hisses and boos for this, but I really want to see Slaf on a line with Armia. Just salivating over the potential cycle game.
people see what they want to see though. Take a look at the vid I posted, just after the 1 min mark he gets pushed by Kapanen a guy who couldn't even handle Liiga last season. KK was coming off a major knee injury let's not forget, but it's funny how short memories people have. We rushed Galchenyuk, KK and looked what happened, now people are suggesting to do the same thing again and if it doesn't work out you know they will be the first posters saying I f***ing told you to pick Wright, how do you not pick him, etc...
Stop rushing prospects to the NHL, things take time it's ok.

I'm more on board with this than trying to ruin Slaf by putting Drouin on his wing.

Yeah, let him play with Karlsson!Actually, I think Slafkovsky might be ready to go directly to the super NHL, and perhaps you should be demodded for heresy.

Found this picture of Slaf and his family back home
Cue the Chuck Norris-style memes! The wingate test doesn't break slafkosvky, slagkosvky breaks the Wingate test. Lol
Wouldn't it be something if Heineman could turn into our version of Palat.Forgot about Heineman, he looks already NHL ready, I mean his puck protection and shot are really good, you look at him and he has that vibe that he will play in the NHL.
