In a 32-team league, it takes some luck to compile talent. Other teams have gone through this where you draft and draft and scour free agency but just can’t land that A-level talent that separates you from the pack.
Seider’s a great talent, and the trio of Larkin/Debrincat/Raymond is an OK foundation. But none of those guys are competing for awards, and after them it falls off so sharply. So they’re in that middle range with no truly top-shelf talent and also not enough depth to be afraid of. Tough spot to be as a franchise and there’s not a lot to be done but keep drafting and looking for opportunities to benefit from someone else’s cap crunch. What else can they do?
