Reavo treating shootouts how they deserve to be treated

Reaves was the first one in on that forecheck and had his guy pinned but like you said earlier, this one was on Rooney . He was the 3RD man in and played way too soft on the play and allowed NJ to break out of the zone

Rooney also let up on the backcheck and his guy scored because he didn't get all the way back and tie him up. He stopped skating because he thought he could get away with it.

kinda weird game, ultimately felt like the Rangers kinda tried to run out the clock with 10 mintues left after the Kakko goal and eventually it bit them. They weren't total turtle mode but were very content to just dump the puck out instead of putting on more pressure.

That Kakko goal was a glimpse of what he could and SHOULD be, I hope he can build confidence on that.

With Subban it's just no coincidence anymore that these things just "happen" when he's on the ice going into the boards with players. Dirty or not at the very least he's reckless

I can't believe the amount of NJD Twitter and HFNJD that are calling the kakko goal goalie interference. People forgot about being able to make contact with the goalie on plays like that for the last 100 years.

I think GG insists on the Bread-Strome-Kakko line because he sees some really huge potential there.
The Kakko-bear is waking up :). Give it some time for them to get used to each other, and it will be quite a powerful line.
It is possible that Bread and Strome first weren't comfortable having Kakko there, but as things start flowing well, they will be happy having Kakko on their line.
In todays game, i think they played well with Kakko, compared to previous games.

Yeah I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with some of the takes on that goal.

A play like that has literally never EVER been goalie interference. It sucks Blackwood got hurt, but a bang bang play with a puck carrier dekeing the goalie and making glancing accidental contact as you're tucking the puck around them, that's literally always been a good goal.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't challenge it. I feel like the key there is that Blackwood kind of moved into Kakko rather than Kakko just running him over. Kakko was trying to fake around him while Blackwood kinda went for the chance to stop him from getting around him. But I bet there was a less than zero chance of it being called back if Ruff had challenged...

After Subban's BS though f*** em

I am not a big Georgiev fan nor do I want to make excuses for him, but I know that that Hamilton goal is hard to track. I've both done it and had it done to me as a dman. It can be very hard on the goalie to know when the puck is coming off the stick. It is a great shot to take and, honestly, I don't think guys do it enough. That's a good goal.
