Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'm just glad Drury's playing it cool. Good pieces at low costs. Giving the team options as we move into playoffs but recognizing we're not exactly there yet. It's a relief in a lot of ways.
We've had some bad luck. Kids not stepping up. Injuries. Blais all year would've been a boost for the bottom 6.
Also, as we already well knew, EdJovanovski's love for Kravstov knows no bounds. It is limitless and unconditional.

I suppose the frustrating thing upon seeing that is that some subset of those trade bait assets ought to comfortably fetch us Chychurn. But it won't happen.

I am sure I'm in the minority but I deal chytil for lehkonen at this point.
If we move chytil I hope it's for lehkonen, but we would need to add another depth c in case of injuries
If Smith is an option/available I wonder what the objective ask would be? You would have to think he would fit in pretty nicely even if its just for this years run

Good rental pickup in Braun. Solid veteran D-man. Good in his own end and blocks a lot of shots. Doesn't lay the body like Troub or Lindy, but that all changes come post season anyway with everybody hitting.

Would think Lundkvist (and a pick?) makes more sense for us. Really thin on C, as you said, and with Braun ... don't see a reason to keep yet another D who, let's face it, won't get past Fox, Trouba or Schneider on the depth chart. It's a lot of trade value for a 4RD.

Problem trading Chytil for Lehkonen is that Lehkonen is not someone we can sign for Goodrow money especially if he has a decent playoffs. So he either craps the bed in the playoffs (bad) or he does nicely in playoffs (ok) then asks for 3.5 million plus with term for a new deal. We just shouldn't do that with guys like Berard, Cuylle, Othmann in the pipeliine.
