The addition of 4th line depth that can pk is a big deal vwe need to better manage minutea for our big boys vs their ok time. Look at recent games where our big boys are stuck pking for spells and then are getting tires once we are back to 5v5. It's nice to add depth that can contribute to special teams as well, especially the pk

I don't mind the caution honestly due to the uncertainty with the 2C position after this year. You have to think about what the team is going to look like after 2022, and prepare accordingly. He's saving his best assets for filling the 2C position - and that's okay by me.

I don't think they can unless they try to cash in with prospects.

They don't own their first this year or their 2nd the next 2 years. I guess they can try to lead with their 1st next year but we'll see.

There's no question that right now those two teams are going head to head with acquiring players. Florida goes out and gets their adds, then Tampa goes out and gets there's. Now Florida's going back out trying to add more. They both know that they're going head-to-head at some point

Yeah true but probably nothing of serious value (and I know people are hating on Chytil but I just don't wanna give up on him)

I also sorta don't. I only think he should be traded if he's part of a package with maybe Lundqvist that brings back a stud 25 year old center that is cost controlled. That's really the only way.

Even then, it's risky to give up on him now. He's been playing pretty well.
