And he's still their youngest D by 5 years, missed games to a 3 week injury, got a little self-admittedly bummed out for a bit after being cut by the Habs

And he still leads the D in points lol

He's not. Dario Sidler is a late 03 born, so just a few months older than Reinbacher.

Lol the 1 and only D at the bottom of the page I ignored because of 5 GP
but THANKS lol

Also, it's not 'he's not', he's still the youngest just 'not by 5 years' anymore lol

Yeah, only recently acquired from Lausanne. Good player though. Massive upgrade over the injured Beaulieu.

Btw, tonight's game (Kloten leading 2-1 in the 3rd) will be Mitchell's last as head coach. The "watson.ch" article I posted claimed that the new head coach was not a Mitchell hire. Kloten then released a statement that Mitchell was "involved" in the process.
This article by a different media outlet now says that that's just part of the truth. Apparently, GM Mitchell and his front office were informed but Club presidents decided to hire Mair (the new head coach) anyway despite Mitchell and other members of the Front Office (for example former coach Tomlinson who's now, for health reasons, in an advisory role) being against the hire.

Strange timing after the recent wins. Also not sure why they would treat Mitchell like this. He's a poor coach but maybe still the best option to close out the season because the players are clearly playing for him.

He may have made mistakes as a GM as well (hire of Fleming, signing Beaulieu etc) but overall he's done very well with the limited options he had. Kloten doesn't nearly have the financial options of most of their NL competition.

Well, just the potential playoff run in Laval with a competitive, spirited team on a roll will be a great experience for him. And will give him a big taste of being in a NHL system guided by our hand-picked development staff. The articles said he was very, very disappointed when he was sent back last year. I think he (rightfully) thought he performed well enough to stay in N.A. JMHO.
Some folks keep repeating that Reibacher wanted to go back to Switzerland to finish his education...

He wanted to finish his education, yes. He said he'd have been prepared to stay in Canada though because there are remote options for his education. Having said that, I don't know how you can hold down a 50% job, attend classes and prepare for exams all while playing on a tough north american schedule with all the travelling involved. I don't know how good of an option that would have been. In Europe, schedules are much lighter and playing in Switzerland, you can sleep at home in your own proper bed every night of the week. There are no road trips. That definitely helps if your focus isn't on hockey.

He play really good hockey so far lately. He is going to be a really really good one guys!

I see in him a 40-50 points producer with very very good stick at defensive zone, a mature game in his zone, great mobility, great first pass, great skating aswell. He is going to have a very high value when he is going to hit his potential.

If kids in the CHL can do it, he could've as well but the decision was made and here we are. Hope he gets here as soon as possible,

Ok , sure 'we' would
Why the hell would CLB tho?
In this hypothetical scenario? Because Jiricek doesn't want to play for them, maybe, and because Mailloux is a RD with a good shot. So they may like a package with his name instead of trying to pry Reinpounder

For now he does very much want to play for them...just not for their farm in Cleveland...which is where the Bluejackets want him to play. That is the problem. Apparently he was told to get a place because he's gonna stick in the NHL. As it turned out he sucked at NHL level and had to go down. The player, however, thinks he played well and is demanding PP time instead...because fellow draftees are getting it as well.

Complicated situation. There was worry that he wouldn't report to Cleveland at all. And now, Jiricek is clearly pissed because Blankenburg was promoted instantly after missing time due to injury while he himself is still in the AHL. I think it was just bad and unfortunate communication by the Bluejackets. Shouldn't have gotten his hopes up, probably shouldn't have brought him up at all.
