IMO Beck will be an elite 3rd line centre at worst. He will a Doug Jarvis level player.
Yes. All our picks are always going to be elite until they’re not. I don’t think Beck is elite at anything, he will have an NHL career most likely, but I’m not sure there is much upside there. I don’t believe there is tbh.

His hockey IQ seems to be elite.

I can see him developing into a Danault-type in a couple of years.

That would be a slam dunk of a pick if he reaches that IMO.

Yep, agreed. Although, many thought Gallagher was carrying Danault around here, so don’t expect the fans to be behind him if that is the case.

Let's not focus on the minority.

Anyone who has a clue about the game saw that Danault was a 2-way beast on the ice.

Both Tatar and Gallagher had career years while he was centering them but somehow he was the one being carried!

The one thing I have to keep reminding myself with Reinbacher is that the Swiss league is actually good.

It's not like he was in the Austrian league, the Swiss league is better than the German league or the Czech league right now. They get a ton of ex-NHL imports

HC Fribourg has a lot of familiar faces: Desharnais, De La Rose, Diaz, Victor Rask, Janne Kuokkanen, Marcus Sorensen

I guess this is where we get our reputation for being uber homers on our own prospects.
Habs fans aren't homers more than any other fan base. It just appears that way because their are FAR more Habs and leafs fans than any other team so percentage wise their are more.

I mean the man I quoted thought we had 9 potential super stars on our team lol. Doubt every fan base has that level of homerism.

But yes I generally agree it's more visible in large fanbases. Math is math.

There was a large contingent on this site that felt the same way about Danault. The best was those that were saying Ryan Poehling was good enough to bump Danault down and make him expendable. Good times, Ryan Poehling, Habs future superstar.

We have Caufield a potential 50 goal guy- Slafkovsky a potential PF- Suzuki a top C right now. So 3 POTENTIAL superstars up front.

The D had 6 POTENTIAL superstars...let's see if they can do what we need.
Lolol. You’re a glass is half full type of guy, I see. I can respect that.

Lolol, 9 superstars and 13 hall of famers will lead us to a 24th place finish.

You've heard of a one hit wonder... Poehling was a one game superstar.
