Sure, you can praise him all you want. The out of town thread is probably a more appropriate thread to do so, though.Am I allowed to praise Dvorsky in this thread, or is that only reserved for Michkov?

Blue scrotum actually (means the same - slang for “sex-deprived”)… Also means “Blue hockey bag”I never understood how la poche bleu just means Blue balls and nobody ever talks about this??? I need answers why did they choose this name
I was listening to TSN690 the past couple of days, and what stands out is the disconnected thinking of many fans. Remember all that stuff about how the Habs should move up to get Smith or Carlsson, or even wishing that Smith falls to us.Fans are mad because they think they can predict the future and are expert in drafting while having 10% of the information needed in order to make any pick but they still think they are smarter than those doing this job
That's call the Dunning-Kruger effect: The Dunning-Kruger effect occurs when a person’s lack of knowledge and skills in a certain area cause them to overestimate their own competence
I know that teams barely look at the draft cottage industry. But take « very seriously » the NHL CSS rankings. It’s there to help NHL teams. They pay a staff of about 30 scouts that watch a few thousand games a year. They pegged Reinbacher 5fth for European skaters. Then going 5OA at the draft is a big reach. Which is fine, and not a mistake in itself, but I understand fans asking for an explanation.Fans are mad because they think they can predict the future and are expert in drafting while having 10% of the information needed in order to make any pick but they still think they are smarter than those doing this job

I listened to his interview today after the development camp, he comes off as very mature and intelligent. I don't think any of his answers were cliche or soundbites, all responses were thoughtful.
My favourite question was a reporter asking him if he was running on adrenaline after the combine/draft/development camp/etc. and he said no, and that he had planned another on-ice training session (seemingly on his own) for later today.

Slafkovsky should go to Kluten too. Away from the vitriol circus of Laval-Montreal.I really hope he does go to the AHL. I think the smoke from the draft will be well settled by then if it isn’t already. I think Laval will have a pretty good team down there. I would send Slafkovsky with him.
I don't mind being wrong if it means the Habs were right.

I'm happy to see people coming around, I like the kid a lot. And think he'll be a huge minute eater for us for years. While Hutson/Mailloux may put up the points I won't be surprised if Guhle and Reinbacher play the most minutes 5v5 + PK by far on the team.

Best D for 3-on-3 OT is definitely Matheson. Terrific skill, outskates everyone, and amazing endurance.Yeah sending David + Guhliath at the end of a game will probably be a no-brainer for every Habs D coach in the next years, if everything pans out.
The real competition will be wich D plays on 3-on-3 OT, or rather which forwards will be better then the D![]()
He’s already played a big role in the NL and was successful. It would be fair to say he has earned a step up to a better league.I don't want him near North America ffs. Let him play a big role in NL this year. There's already too many bodies in Laval anyways.
Im pretty sure 90% of this board would be better scouts than Martin Lapointe and Bobrov.Fans are mad because they think they can predict the future and are expert in drafting while having 10% of the information needed in order to make any pick but they still think they are smarter than those doing this job

Both are idiots and known to miss the water while dropping from a boat.
Defending ''experts'' that are proved failures after almost a decade , ya people are right to say they are stupid , which those 2 are and missed 3 boats in 2 years
Sounds like another guy who operates on a professional intellectual level rather than the lowest common denominatored-level of the hacks who'll be asking him questions for the next 15 years in Montreal.I listened to his interview today after the development camp, he comes off as very mature and intelligent.
