I only watched the highlights from their game on YouTube but he looked like he would be a huge help for the Habs on the blue line NOW.

There's rust in his game, mostly in terms of defensive positioning, stick work and one on ones. But, everything else (transition, offense) was really good, though I was half watching on my phone while the Habs game was on. If he stays healthy he'll be a regular by the end of the next season.

How did he look yesterday ? Any rust ?
There's a little rust on the hood of his car. It's not too bad yet but I wouldn't leave it for another winter before taking care of it. He should take it fix auto before it gets any worse.

It was a meaningless game. Laval was sure to finish first. I would not put to much weight on how the players looked in that game.
Most importantly is he able to practice and play the next game.
We still haven't locked down first over all for home ice through out.
I think we still need 1 point.

Nothing structural …
I wonder what it was?

They wouldn’t sit him if it were only caution. Swelling? Pain?

Hopefully he can get through playoffs and go into offseason healthy.

I have no idea but it's possible it's the meaniscus. When i injured my knee couple of years ago it took about 4 months to come back. It was fine in training but when i started playing again and when i was pushing too hard my knee was hurting and i could fell some swelling. Went to see my doctor and it was the meniscus. Had to wait another 2-3 weeks of light training to come back and be fine.

That is EXACTLY what happened with Rein.

He came back, full tilt with 23-25 TOi, saw his knee wobble getting up on his 6th game, out for several games. Comes back, second game saw him short stroke skating retrieving the puck. Out again for several games.

I'm hoping that was the end of it because if he's out for another stretch, it's next season and a summer of worry.

BTW...I'm not *guessing", I'm recording the RDS feed and watching Maillioux and Rein exclusively
