I feel like he's this delicate piece of glass, every game he plays he risks the chance of destroying his knee.

I think you're right. I'm wary due to all of our bad luck over the years though. He needs to stay healthy and he needs to see some games. He's a fantastic player when he's on and looks like a future top 3D in his AHL stints.

There's zero reason to just think its all flowers and roses obviously there's some concern to be had. Michkov destroying the league right now doesn't help either when everybody and their dog wanted him.
It's unfortunate because I really do believe in Reinbachers ability out there to become a great defenseman and justify the pick if we exclude injuries/health reasons.
All we can do is pray for the kid , nobody can predict how it's gonna end up , he could just become a beast and not injured all the time for a few seasons and all will be forgotten.
I'm trying to be level headed but my post sounds like a eulogy , he looked fine in the games I watched him play for Laval

Body language by the guys on the bench seems positive. Hopefully he's ready to get back into game action.

I guess the '' following the protocol '' thing was pretty close to the truth in the end. He came back a bit early from the injury and they've been under strict guidelines for his rehab that if he feels anything is off at all with the knee after a game, even minor, he has to immediately give it a rest.

Can't read lips, but the trainer/coach on the bench sure looked like he told Reinbacher to give him a Thumbs Up for the gallery watching this then and later on.
Staging an everything is good moment?
The carving out there on the ice on each leg didn't look problematic, though.

Don't be insecure , Michkov looks great on a pretty garbage team, no reason to downplay how good he's been since 4 nations.
If just mentioning him is so triggering you are probably coping. There's a world where you can enjoy both players

It's the internet where the disproportional hate that Reinbacher got is going to get reflected back with disproportional hate on Michkov.
Sad but it's reality.
You're gonna get some deserved hate when you play games at the draft to choose your destination. What's pathetic are the habs fans who can't get over it.

he's not even winning the Calder. Already got one coach fired (though Torts is a headache anyways) - and, he's playing exactly how many of us expected. All about stats, nothing about team.. When this guy is your leading scorer your team is going sink.

That's what the article alludes to and these journos are usually close the both the Rocket and Canadiens. They said they're following a very strict protocol, while mentioning he was supposed to be out 5-6months rather than 4 1/2, then adding that the Rocket are secured a playoff spot. He's skating which is very positive.

not me at least, I never wanted to draft him - we already have our small sniper winger in CC.. now if Hugo had traded CC for a RHD prospect and drafted Michkov then fine...
Doesn't mean you have to engage in it. To say he isn't Kucherov seems silly when Kucherov had 18 points in 52 games at the same age (a bit older actually). He certainly has that kind of upside.
I do hope Reinbacher comes back healthy, I can't stomach watching Savard hockey any more

And I don't engage in it, I'm just telling it like it is. People are gonna fire back with some insane takes on Michkov because of the insane takes on Reinbacher.
Everything is tribalized.. can't even say Laine is bad 5 on 5 without some people inventing realities that he isn't. Nuance is a lost art.

Michkov is a great player, but simultaneously, I'm sick and tired of seeing his name pop up on Reinbacher thread. It's time to mooooooooove ooooooon.
It would be nice to come to the Reinbacher thread and actually follow a conversation about Reinbacher.
