Prospect Info: David Reinbacher - Laval Rocket edition

If you predict that every player busts you'll have a high success rate.
On this board, it’s always the opposite. Seems like we drafted hall of famers all the time…until they bust lol

To comeback to Rein, it really sucks to not have him proper developpment with all thoses injuries. It’s hard to believe it’s not affecting his celling.

Yeah… no.

This team has been bad for a long time. Only Price and Subban had legit HOF talent. And most people would acknowledge this.

This club now? We already have better prospects than we have had in decades and Lane Hutson is already demonstrating HOF talent. Maybe he’s the only one but even if he is there are loads of better players than what we’ve had.

You can’t sit there and laugh it off as though people are silly for being excited here. This group is infinitely better than what we’ve had in at least 30 years.

Too soon to say anything here.

Well a lot of us didnt like the pick at first, the rest is just chaos. Are we still suppose to het one of the best group of doctor in this league?
I was pro-Reinbacher even before the draft. The people who wanted Michkov should take a cold shower and come back to planet earth. What is done is done. I don't care if Reinbacher is injured 50% of his career. He have size, skills, IQ and have a positive and good learning attitude. Michkov is a bum. He didn't want to come to Mtl anyway and he's just another small winger. Wingers are the easyest position to fill. Small wingers tends to retire or being washed up early around 31 yrs.

A forum like this will have all sorts of hysteric fans who will never understand, they will always bash, hate and post forever cuz they didn't like that or that pick. Even if the Rein pick was a mistake, breathe some fresh air and get over it. It's done and it's done, that's it!

He returned from his injury really quick — in like half the time of Dach for instance.

I hope everything is fine and he’s just being rehabbed cautiously and conservatively. Until something changes there isn’t any reason to be concerned imo.. the worst has already happened.

Michkov is a bum…
I’ll never understand this kind of thinking.

Right but I'm talking about the responses and this particular player.
Man, let him play in the NHL. If we get a good team and don’t miss Michkov we don’t need to dwell on it.

I wanted Michkov so badly — but Reino is coming up and he will fit a big need, so what’s the point of relitigating it now? Clearly Michkov is ahead of his whole damn draft cohort. Let’s see how things look midway next year. You gotta be rooting for Reino for now.

He’s made of glass, apparently. The shittiest thing is we haven’t even been able to get an actual good read on what we have in him yet because he simply cannot stay healthy. Maddening.

I have seen enough of him in the AHL, when he is playing he his by far the best player on the ice. I hope the off season will help him heal and I am 100% sure he starts in MTL barring any setback or further injuries

Yes, he is a very very good defenseman. But like Guhle, just need to stay healthy haha!
