You can literally make that argument against every coach. *Team loses *Coach explains what went wrong *HFNYR, isn't it your job to fix it?
Again, if he saw they were playing in a way that according to him, they should not have, why didn't he do something about it BEFORE it was 3-3? Or, is this just the excuse he came up with after the fact?

Again, every time a team loses they play the way the coaching thinks they shouldn't have. You can make that argument every loss and even some wins.

so Rooney, DiGiuseppe, Blackwell, Johnson, etc. were brought in so that this coach has an excuse not to play and develop young guys like Barron, Gauthier, Lemieux, Hajek, etc.?

Not blaming Quinn for these losses. The team overall isn’t playing badly. Its bad goaltending and poor play from players that can play way better than they are. Our younger and less proven players are developing, which is the most important thing about this year. Bread, Mika, Kreider will get better as the season progresses. We’re playing well enough to win and some of these games we should have won. I can see this team have a stupid good 10 gamd stretch. They just need to get the ball rolling and close these games out.
