His contract is up at the end of the year
CarolinaBudget.They have not yet.

Yeah and that guy that Esposito hired from L.A.. The one with the wide ties who was always calling in sick.Worst coach? You must not have been alive/around for Trottier, Ron Low, Muckler...hell even Sather was worst.
Where in my comment do you see that?Earlier, you said Quinn didn't hold the Rangers back.
Now, you're saying the exact opposite.
Question If you are Rod do you take 1.8 in Carolina or 4.5 in the apple.CarolinaBudget.
Rangers f*** the budget, I do not care what the coach gets paid.
As long as he is the right coach,
I’d appreciate it if - collectively - this board could start a whisper campaign supporting me as a “low key”, “under the radar”, “ideal candidate” for any Goaltending Coordinator or, in general, Goalie Coach type roles available now or in the future.Coaches aren’t interested in dealing with goalies AT ALL, coaching-wise they play a different sport for all they care. Allaire has a good enough rep that they’ll be fine with him and wouldn’t say no thanks because that position comes pre-filled.
Only thing I could see being the reason it doesn't come together if Canes ownership gets cheap with Rod's staff and doesn't want to re-sign them as well. I have read that Rod wants them signed first before he signs. While there was a kerfuffle regarding the Canes tweeting out about RBA being a coach for 3 years being taken as they were extending him 3 years...Friedman did say that the Canes were working a 3 year extension with RBA.
Nothing official yet, but I don't see why either party would not want to continue the relationship.
RBA didn't transform the Canes into a good team, as they were already good before he got there. He did get their SH% to go up, and I guess some intangibles.
4.5 in the apple with the promise that your entire staff will also be hired and you'll have every single resource you need at all times. Pipe dream but I'll be dreaming.Question If you are Rod do you take 1.8 in Carolina or 4.5 in the apple.

Friedman: "I expect Rod Brind'Amour to stay in Carolina, but I think if anything were to prevent it from happening, or it doesn't get done, I think that the Rangers would be very interested."
Yea because that was really what was happening...it couldnt be that the fan base was fed up with the team coming out flat and unresponsive all the time.... that section of the fan base was unreasonable because the team was simply losing after the 1st period...Whomever the new coach is, he better hope the Rangers aren't losing after the first period of the first game.
Quinn is gonna make more than that sitting on his couch the next two years. The offer from Carolina is 1.8
Screw you too!I hate EJ so much.
Below is a list of every player who ever played with and every coach who ever coached Chris Drury starting from his Boston University days. In order to be on this list, they must have played in at least 10 games with Chris and have been a Head Coach up until 2020.
Honorable mention to Todd Gil who stopped coaching in 2019. Gil had 6 years as a Head Coach. Last coached in the OHL with zero championships.[TBODY] [/TBODY]
