Well his 113 point performance bested Patrick Kanes 'best' 110 point performance in 2019.
The next few years will be really interesting.

Patrick Kane's most successful offensive season was also when the Blackhawks placed 6th in their division and trended downwards after that.

Cap is going up, and while Pasta is worth the hit, I don't think there was much discount there, and the team around him is getting weaker until we find top 6 for the next gen. There's a lot up in the air now, but Pastrnak at 11.25 may really need to take the team offensively on his back. Is he up to the task? We will see. That transition will be telling of his legacy.

Marchand is approaching his twilight, Debrusk is a UFA (which either needs to be extended or traded if he's not). Zacha, I'm optimistic about, but really 1 year proven.

We lost Hall for basically nothing. Bertuzzi short term promise/failure. Lysell likely isn't ready.

Pastrnak will need to be relied on, potentially without the safety net of 2 top lines.
