8 years takes Pasta to 35 years old. I think we will see a front loaded contract as much as possible with a very fair cap hit. Once Pasternak is involved it be good, he wants to be here. He wants to win and Bergy and co have shown him the way by being team friendly. 11.11,11.11,11.11, 8.88,8.88,8.88,6.66,6.66. 73.29M - 8 years. 9.16M annual cap hit. Maybe I am crazy.. we will see. I think the poster was saying after the playoffs and he isn't signed and if it looks like you won't be able to sign him, then you can trade him for 2 seconds for a team to get negotiating rights for next year onward.
