Skating, balance , shot and not afraid to get hit....the kid has a bit of Rick Middleton in him.

with or without the smokes Wally?
Actually, shouldn`t say that, have no idea if Slick Rick was a smoker, just watched that hair flow until he lost it and assumed
He was.
But kids today (mostly) are smarter.
I think he plays exactly like voracek
Not bad
When Pasta got smoked a few games back in the offensive zone boards and they commented he was slow to get back to bench and the TV showed him crossing the ice is it me or should we be concerned the C word? Sometimes can show up later
Voracek is bigger , taller
Also will crash to the net to score some ugly ones... Pasta is not really like this
Mike Cammalleri comparison is pretty close no? Similar size, good skater, pretty good shot, goal scorer mentality, underrated mid/defensive game, plays with a little edge
Im wondering if it is that or it seemed, i think the next game, he got checked and hit his hip/ leg in a strange manner.
I hope it's hip or leg - I'm sure we will find out
Yea i really don't want to see him( or anyone) start getting concussions, especially this early in a career, I know he had one that was part of the reason he fell so far in his draft year.
It also is why JFK made it to Boston and probably why Konecny made it to 24 and Flyers
Cammy is 5'9, 185... years after he was drafted.
Voracek was 6'1, 185 when he was drafted. Age and working on his bulk has put him at 6'2, 210 now.
Pasta was 6', 170 when he was drafted. A couple of years later, he's 6'1, 180.
I think he'll play around Seguin's weight in about 4 years ( 200 pounds ); they both seem to have similar body types. So yes, he's not quite as sturdy/stout as Voracek, but he's bigger than Cammy.
What I know for sure is that Pasta is no Hemsky
He was.
But kids today (mostly) are smarter.
So concussions are good early in the career if they allow skilled players to fall to middling borderline playoff teams, Gotcha.
I have no idea what you are talking about but it doesn't sound nice and will never have to ever again
Sunday’s late-morning workout at Warrior Ice Arena in Brighton brought only 11 players to the ice. David Pastrnak, who missed his second straight game Saturday due to an upper-body injury, skated on his own before his teammates hit the ice.
Julien reiterated that Pastrnak, the club’s top goal scorer (10), remains day-to-day and would not venture a guess as to whether he might play Tuesday against St. Louis.
“He skated today,†Julien said, “so I guess that means he is getting closer to joining the team.â€
