In what universe is a 34 year old goalie with 10 yrs on his deal, an absolute albatross of a contract, worth a top prospect like Gardiner?

1) He's 33
2) We're not paying 5.33 10 years. It's up until he retires.
3) His contract is fine

Vancouver is probably gonna want a center, and I'm thinking Bozak is gonna be the guy they'd be aiming for. I would be okay with Bozak going but it would still create another hole in a position that we struggle in. MacArthur + something minor would be ideal. **** Vancouver. They can't keep Luongo on the bench, nor can they keep Schneider on the bench and except them to be satisfied. Luongo is out of the picture in Vancouver, which is exactly why any sort of overpayment is COMPLETELY unnecessary!

1. Same difference. 2. Yeah I keep hearing he'll retire but I don't know if that's true. 3. His cap hit is fine his contract is trash

If Burke were to speak out against his employers it would be considered insubordination and termination without pay, and MLSE would be off the hook for his remaining balance.

The man is getting his salary no matter what.
He agreed to take the adviser role.

Bob knows 0 about hockey and is an idiot.....

he knows NFL MLB and maybe CFL... but Hockey he knows jack ****

And he's still right in what he's saying now if you cared to listen. He has connections, and he's a very good sports business mind. And everything he's said about MLSE upper management has been absolutely without question spot on.

Only thing I didn't like that Burke did was not fire Wilson long before. Everything-else was fine including Kessel. I mean, how could you possibly predict this team would suck that bad that year. It should have been an 8th 9th 10th overall or so not Segs...That first year should have been eyes on Wilson but nope REVAMP the team for Wilson.

You're just trying to rile people up, that's all you Vancouver fans are good for anyways.

I am not trying to get people riled up. Iam just explaining why it would be a bad trade and not a earth shattering bad trade.

You got emotional and asked me if I was ****ed in the head. You need to not get so emotional over a potential hockey trade.

Kadri
Gardiner

For Luongo isn't the worst trade in the world.

Considering Luongo's contract and the situation the Nucks are in.. That's horrible.

If you get Kadri and Gardiner for Luo, Nonis will be looking for work.

Exactly.

Bob is 100% correct.

I really suggest everyone tune in to attune their way of thinking.

If this firing is to do with Luongo, we might be in trouble.

Personally I think he should have been fired anyway but that's just my opinion.

The Luongo deal has to be avoided and if Burke took the fall, then good for him.

He really is a man of ideals.

It's the worst trade that I've seen thrown out in the past 10 years. Disregard kadri even Gardiner straight up for Lu is overpayment. And no you're not ****ed in the head but just a massive homer. Ask a neutral fan who wins that trade I mean its obvious

it could be, if he starts to break down, can't handle the media, lost his competitive spirit and just wants to retire in Florida

it could be a good trade too but there is risk and a lot of it with the long term contract
