lol Dorrion didn't mention Hoff in the good interviews list
He singled out four or five guys. Hard to attribute any meaning to any of the guys he didn't mention.

Yeah Hoffman and Ryan not really mentioned. Am I reading too much in it?
yesssssss.
Finally the Melynk detractors will have nothing to say.

I haven't been able to watch the presser yet, but does he think we are close? If so, we'll probably see minor changes this off-season.

Didn't touch on what changes will be coming this offseason. Wanted to focus primarily on the coaching staff and the "four human beings who lost their jobs." Did mention that changes will be coming, and said a lot of hard conversations were had yesterday where some players didn't leave with their heads held high.
This is huge ,no head coach that has had success would have ever come here .If this didnt change"Mr. Melnyk has assured me that we have the resources available to hire the best available coach" Reiterated by Dorion
"The new head coach will have full autonomy to hire his staff"
Or Stone! How about Anderson?! Hammond! Pageau! Or Lazar! Or Smith! Ceci! Shall I list everybody?...............
He was practically in tears on tv talking about what a great group we have here.
No, seriously.
He does. Mentioned we potentially have 5 or 6 (I forget) 20 goal scorers on this team, we need to commit to defense. Mainly team defense was the big stress here. 30th in SA, PK and PP are unacceptable. His quote is "were not that far off".
But, it didn't sound from his tone that there will be minor changes, I think we might see some major ones actually. But that's just me reading into it.
I'm getting this feeling more and more that Pierre Dorion is simply a puppet string GM [in title only]...for BM
Lets not kid ourselves, BM is still very much in charge of this Org
yesssssss.

I don't get how Dorrion has the resources to hire the "best" coach, if we have a budget in the mid 60's. Julien would lower it by 2-3mill.
Yeah very true. But he did mention there were some really tough conversations. In my head I was thinking that might of been Hoffman.
