Is nolan still on a one way contract? I could see him starting in Manch, as well as King. These guys are still young, not really worried about them.

I like this deal, and I see exactly why Dean did it. We let multiple guys do **** shirts our players that one of our players should have put a stop to. For starters, David Perron shouldn't have made it out of that series without taking a borderline hit or getting a beat down.

Carcillo will go look to make something happen and I like that. Nolan and Clifford haven't done that for a while.

I agree with you and I am sure Johnny Utah is on board too

I agree. The Kings were a bit passive this year. Nolan was the only one fighting. We lost Mitchell to injury and traded Westgarth. Clifford plays a lot more and reduced his fighting. The only scrap I recall him instigating for a follow up hit was when Murray took out Kopitar.

Carcillo is more of an instigator than Nolan or Clifford.

Quick was run a few times this year and in the playoffs. Stoll was destroyed by Torres. Vancouver seemed to run us over with Sestito and Kassian as did Phoenix with Doan and Bissonette.

Carcillo is going to to the fourth line and one of these RFAs is leaving, I'm quite sure of it.

Then we should have made a trade for the Blues'Reaves, not Carcillo.

see! I told you!

He plays the same position as Clifford. Maybe Toffoli doesn't start here next year....

Brown-Kopitar-Williams
Frattin-Richards-Carter
King-Stoll-Lewis
Carcillo-Fraser-Nolan
Clifford????

That might be the worst bottom six in hockey.

Toffoli will not be back in Manchester, he has nothing to prove there. No way do the Kings keep Clifford, Carcillo, Nolan and Fraser over him. Might as well add Lewis and Stoll also, he is better than them too.

Maybe King is the odd man out and they look to trade or deal him.

Brown-Kopitar-Williams
Carcillo-Richards-Carter
Frattin-Stoll-Lewis
Clifford-Fraser-Nolan

Yeah that better not be the planned lineup...
The only way Carcillo should see 2nd line minutes is with the Ontario Rain jersey on.

Then we should have made a trade for the Blues'Reaves, not Carcillo.

Too valuable for them to trade. I'd rather have a guy who freaks out and fights anyone than a guy who players are too scared to fight. Reaves would have been nice though.

If somehow Carcillo could find his game from 3-4 years ago he could be damn valuable. Sadly the past couple of years he has gone from a quality agitator with some offensive skill to a worthless idiot like Rich Clune.

And Carcillo isnt going to prevent any of that from happening.

If Clifford were to be moved. I still think that moving Carter to center is the right play to make. Two young guys in the Top-6 might scare some people but if you've watched the game long enough, talent should be easily noticeable and Toffoli is legit. He can pass too so I don't want to hear that there are only shooters on that line. Frattin likes to drive the net and can be the physical presence on that line.

I don't care if Richards is playing with Kings and Lewis at even strength as he will rack up his points on the PP and obviously play PK still.

While Carcillo is a clown, he can skate decently. My bias for Nolan may be showing but I think he should be in the lineup.

I dunno, man. I think Reaves would have been a perfect fit for the 4th line if we were seeking more physicality.

That dude and their 4th line dominated the Kings in the post season.

And Carcillos fighting (and he is a 5' 11'') will prevent (even scare :biglaugh:) other teams cheapshoots?
:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh:

There's no such thing as scaring people from giving out cheap shots. It's about having someone who will take a suspension and give them back. We don't have anyone else on the team who would.
