If Dadanov is tradeable then so should be Drouin and Hoffman.

As both have been better, I agree completely. The extra year for Hoff might be the issue, but the Jets did trade for El Nino, who has a year left at $4 million. JD's rep likely makes it so that he doesn't move.

I'd take a pick and an expiring contract back for Hoffman. That would be like retention for this year and being free of him going forward.

We're retaining on Dadonov. Not sure without checking if we have a retention slot open in order to retain on JD, which might increase chances of him being moved.

Wow this is totally unexpected I was expecting future consideration I always loved Gurianov production never seem to match expectations but he is young, big and fast, is lack of production only help us signing him to a cheaper deal, even if he is a 40pts middle 6 he could still be good useful piece and it is a lot better than Dadonov or anyone we have in the AHL.

Very interesting on multiple fronts. Gurianov is definitely better than what he has shown this year, he was a beast in the bubble playoffs. Could he be an Anderson replacement next year?

He's also big and has speed He's got zero IQ and consistency however.

So to get rid of Weber's contract, Habs now have Guryanov.

Asset Management....Hughes turned Weber's dead contract into a RFA 25 years old, ex 12th overall who had a good start in the NHL for the 2 years. Even if it failed, it still better than a dead contract
