Because it's colder than a witch's tit over there?

Many people actually like Ottawa as a city, it's a great place to live. However Melnyk is driving loyal players away. Look at Alfredsson, Spezza, Karlsson, Stone, etc. Heck even Turris didn't want to sign with them when the team was actually doing very well.

Just joking. Ottawa is great.

What's with the insecurity from Ottawa fans? Melnyk sucks, but I bet things will turn around. Have some optimism.

Karlsson doesn't even appear to be worth the money anymore and I bet Stone won't be.

Such am amazing pick up.

With JBD playing really well for Sioux.
Ottawa probably has 3 of their top 4 already within the organization.

We have a bit of a logjam at LD but Wolanin looks like a future top 4 D as well... he is a yr older than Niku but has outproduced him at AHL & NHL level so far. I think he could put up close to 30 pts from the blueline as early as next season. Jaros (LD) and Lajoie (RD) could form a very solid bottom pairing duo, too... Jaros, especially, has #4D upside I believe.... huge, strong, physical & an extremely strong skater

I think the jury is still very much out on Wolanin, Jaros and Lajoie.
