Zboril played tonight.. in the NHL
Kaut scored tonight... in the NHL
Zadina scored tonight.... in the NHL

It's actually a career year for Kaut.lol 2 goals and 2 assists in 29 games is a career high in games, assists, points and tied for most goals with 2.

Of course, he did that in 9 games and that was promising in 2019. This is a little less promising.

Next best year of career, I think, is Hronek. Much more encouraging.

For the Czech posters in Czech. I rewatched the 2005 Skoda finals which was a best on best.. absolutely everyone was available. I always hear about the 2005 Canadian Junior Team but never hear about the World's that year. I think it's obvious, Canada didn't win it so it just doesn't get talked about. Anyways, we beat Canada clean in the finals.. 3-0 .. at the time that was only the 2nd shutout in the finals history. I also looked and that may be the best D core we ever assembled:

What's neat to see is that Vasicek scores the 3-0 empty netter and then Captain Canada Ryan Smyth decides to start a rumble with about 20 seconds left in a 3-0 loss. 1:53 in the video. Fischer just standing there with a 'what the f*** are you doing' look?lol
 
My dreams of Rousek getting his well-deserved look seem to be at odds with my hopes the Sabres are able to make the playoffs. He has another assist today.

Sabres right in the thick of the hunt.. wings seem to be your current biggest obstacle. It's murderers row in that playoff battle

Rocak keeps improving his game, the most noticeable Dman in last few games since he came back from injury. He played physically in the summer, but now I noticed how smart and composed he is. Move the puck well, has the energy to drive play. Want to see him go far in the playoffs, but also want to see him compete in the WJC U18s

That breakaway goal... stop me if you've heard this one before but that was Fabian Lysell trying a one-man show and losing the puck for another U20 player to score.

Buffalo has control over their destiny. They just need to keep plugging along at their current pace and they will be in, perhaps even as the #7 seed. I'm not sure how to feel, it's been so damn long.

He was really bad among men in Trinec. He played far worse than Jiříček, I have no doubt that even Galvas, maybe even Skok. We'll see if he finds the necessary peace for development among the juniors, however, I'm quite skeptical about his nomination for the championship. I firmly hope that Dvořák recovers, then there will hardly be a free place for Ročák in the nomination.

Yeah I didn't like how he played last summer, and I didn't watch him play in Trinec. But most of his peers play in the Czech U20 league this season, he didn't play well against men didn't mean that he's worse than all his peers.
You know better about Czech kids, I just think Rocak has taken a step forward, I saw a more confident and composed boy, maybe he's not a lock for U18, but as a rockets fan, I'm happy for having him.

Hmm our NHL players kinda out of form lately dont you think? We still have 8 players on 50+pts pace this season which is good, but lately its kinda dropping a little bit. SJS and DET had some awful games, and especially Hertl has 1point in last six games. Pasta got kinda stuck on those 42goals, and also only 1point in last three games.

I dont know it doesnt seem so bad maybe lol, but I kinda wanted to see multiple our guys over 70pts this season, we had 4guys on pace for it and now its just Pasta (already 80 lol) and Necas. Hertl and Krejci are somewhere around 65now and its not likely they will go over 70. Krejci maybe, but Hertl not I think, considering Meier is out of SJS.

If they trade Erik Karlsson then Hertl will be playing the San Jose Baracudas for the rest of the season. He cannot be happy.
 
Hronek traded to Vancouver! Dont like it very much, but at least it doesnt affect his chances to play for NT And I have finally reason to watch Vancouver lol.

What the f***? He is in a career year and got traded? Why? This makes nonsense to me.lol. I think Yzerman hates czechs.lol

Some good news.. sort of, I once read that no team has ever won a Stanely Cup with a player who makes 10 million or more.
 


Not a banner time this week...

Hronek traded in a shock (to me)
Vrana given away for free to St. Louis (well, 7th pick or whatever)
Voracek is done because that is what happens when you get traded to Arizona
I assume Zadina and Kubalik are on the block too.lol

The big trade I want to see is Vejmelka. Get him to a playoff team! Vladar would be nice to see traded too.

Radim Zohorna to Toronto.. I'd say he's in Europe next year. I welcome him to the Skoda Cup.. big fan.
 
Sustr to Anaheim for the third time... He will also probably be back in Europe.

If it helps.. Necas with 6 points in 2 games. He's almost at .ppg! 59 points in 61 games I believe.

Pasta still second behind McJesus in goals!

Yes Marty has great form lately, keep it up !

Bad news that Hronek is out and it looks to be at least 3-4 weeks

Oh, actually I'm not really sure. Hronek improved his defensive game this year, but he needed to play together with Maata. He was always criticized for playing backwards, just like Hughes. Vancouver fans are already praying they don't pair up..
