And, ironically, Zadina scores his first goal of the season to end the Vladar streak. So his presence ruined Vladar and got Kubalik benched.lol I'm starting to think Anti is right and he sucks... not goodman, he's more of a positive thinker.

But what about guys like Blumel, Rousek, Galvas, Jenik, Lauko, Mysak, how do you see their chances for the NHL in the future?

I am really suprised that Blumel and Rousek didnt get a proper chance in the NHL yet.

Rousek is more Buffalo hasn't had injury issues at forward. I expect he gets a nibble before the end of the season.

Blumel is a surprise to me. Rousek is understandable. Galvas is a shock. Jenik is a surprise. Mysak - I don't expect him for 2 years but do think he'll make it. He's more of a bottom 6 future player who, I think, the fans will love. And I have no idea what happened to FIlip Kral? Is he hurt. He got to the NHL and then never really played again.

FTR.. no idea what Frk has to do to get a callup?lol 2 years in a row at near .ppg.

Blumel is a mystery, considering they were praising him so much how good he is before the season in Dallas, then he got like 6games and nothing more. Dont know if he looked so bad in his NHL games or what, but in the AHL he is playing great, so dont know what the issue is here.

As for Frk, I think the NHL is just cursed for him lol. I think, that maybe is time to wrap it up in America and go to Europe. He will be amongst the best in any top leauge here and also a welcome adittion for the national team.

Blumel played in the NHL at the beginning of the season because Gurianov was injured, after his recovery he went back to the AHL. Now they might call up someone else, teams often do that, they also test players psychologically. But it could also be because someone simply plays better, or Blumel doesn't have that kind of form. If he gets an opportunity next year, it will be fine, if not, it will be quite a problem.

I can picture a guy like Frk doing quite well in the NLA. Yes, probably time to wrap it up unfortunately. I was a big fan of his and thought he was a sure thing.lol

Vrana is too! I've been really struggling with the Vrana ones as I keep reading 'no room for him' on the Detroit roster. They are not in the playoffs and need scoring help. He's a top 6 scorer. Heck, my Oilers have room for him and our top 6 is ridiculous. In fact, please get Vrana to Edmonton since Detroit doesn't want him.

No Vezina winner in our crew.. but having 6 goalies at .905 are up is damn good!

The 'worst' one is Mrazek and he's my current hope to be the starter at the Skoda Cup (hoping Vejmelka gets traded to LA). His stats are awful and he's been shelled but he's played well. Happy he's been injury free.

Rittich is doing much better. Flames fans are asking for Vladar to get more starts. Vejmelka is in trade rumours to a stonger team. Francouz is doing great but hasn't stolen that starters job like I hoped he would. Vanecek has probably been our best goalie. Dostal is one Stolarz/Gibson trade away from full time backup.

Kubalik is 2nd amongst forwards and ahead of Raymond. I almost fell off my chair when I looked that up. I'm surprised there is no room in the Top 6 for Kubalik and Vrana to be honest? I was expecting to see a scoring leader chart like my Oil have where the forwards are all well above .ppg. Just Larkin is at .ppg and then it's Kubalik (who is on 4th line a lot?). And that group has no room for Vrana? That is surprising to me.

This is forwards only... Kubalik on 4th line and no room for a guy like Vrana seems very odd to me. I get why Zadina is in bottom 6 and healthy scratch territory. I assume Vrana is up so he can be jettisoned somewhere, anywhere.haha

It's entirely possible that Kubalik, Zadina and Vrana are gone very soon.

Read a report today that Ondrej Kase maybe done in the NHL and heading back to Czech after this year. Concussions have taken their toll on him. Too bad he was once a promising player. I had season seats in SD for the Gulls when he was coming up. I always enjoyed watching him play. He was always on of the better skaters on the ice. Hope he gets his health back.

He's a beaut. Late round pick thar rose through the ranks. I think he's actually already in the Czech Republic (no proof but I swear I read it somewhere and could be wrong).

I wouldn't be surprised he's there. Since he's been on the IR since Oct. The report said he would sign with a Czech team in the offseason. He's had his bell rung a few too many times. I'd like to see him take a couple years off. To clear up the noggin. Enjoy life in Kadan. It's a beautiful little town.

I hope he doesn't sign in Europe.. I hope he gets some insurance money and retires.

I got concussed playing pickup hockey last year.. and that game was very far from NHL level.. or ECHL Level.. or Junior Z level.haha Point being, concussions can happen in any hockey game and he is very vulnerable!
