It's a rare case when I have almost no bad feelings after the loss.![]()
Last year, Bobrovski was more of a weakness than a strength, particularly in the GMG. I didn't see the game, but apparently with the same number of shots, the Czech got a shutout, and Bobrovski did not.
What is the point of your comment if you didn't even watch the MOD game? It's stupid.Last year, Bobrovski was more of a weakness than a strength, particularly in the GMG. I didn't see the game, but apparently with the same number of shots, the Czech got a shutout, and Bobrovski did not.
Russia really does have serious problems on home ice. The 2000 debacle, Mikko Koivu in 2007, Sochi...
Off to a rough start again here.
u mean beaver?Stupid whiskered moron

Congrats to Czech team, solid defence, good goaltending, great effort all-around. Rus team - not so much, very rusty, don't see how they can go past semifinals.
I don't believe in jinxes, Santa Claus, Peter Pan, or the Easter Bunny. Russia lost the game because they don't have a good enough team to win. Home ice is an advantage because you get the support of the home fans, and the referees can be influenced by crowd noise. But home ice advantage has never been enough to make up for poor quality hockey.
If you've watched the game, you would've realized, that the real problem was inadequate offence, not Bob.First, I want to thank you for the nice compliment. Can you believe its the nicest thing that anyone has ever said about one of my posts? But next I want to point out that several posts in this thread have commented that the Russians had a lot of great scoring opportunities that the Czech goaltender was able to keep out. So my comment was a deduction that both goaltenders faced a lot of great shots, but the Czech kept his sheet clean while Bobrovski didn't.
All of Russia will be rooting hard for Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
Well done "brothers"Bit lucky but it was great team effort. And superior goaltending.
We will take what's ours at the World Cup.
Does anyone in Russia actually give a damn about that tournament?
I'll say it, we need a foreign coach.
Furch was good, Czech started strong Russia didn't show up really till the second. Czechs didn't good job collapsing and limiting Russia's offense and when they did get chances Furchs shut the door and Russia was a little too passive as always.
Did they even hit anybody? Datsuyk was hitted quite hard for several times in first half. No russian player even paid back. There was no agressivity from russian team at all....
