I blame all of them. Comcast is a major rip off but no options here I live
Cannot necessarily blame them but it was reported one of the major reasons they walked from the NHL was the league was unwilling to put exclusive games on Peacock so they wanted to do this themselves just the NHL went with ESPN instead and was not willing to put any of the current games that are on TNT on Peacock.

Unfortunately streaming services tend to overpay for rights which leagues have a hard time saying no too. NFL will have Thursday night football on Amazon Prime, ESPN+ & Peacock will have exclusive NFL games (pretty limited, only 1 per year and rumored to be the games played in Europe)

MLB has sold exclusive games to YouTube, Apple TV & Peacock. Soccer has tons of exclusive streaming games so it doesn't seem this is going to stop anytime in the near future, more likely to grow.

I just want to turn on the TV and put it on the Bs channel to watch games. Not watching Bs is bad for me.

I called Comcast/ Xfinity (why they have two names is beyond me):groucho:.They told me that indeed NESN would be dropped but they did not know when. The high price will still be the same for me. I hate them

I have lost touch with technology.

Just got this from NESN;

We appreciate you taking the time to respond.

NESN doesn't provide 4k resolution at this time, we supports 1080 resolution if your device is a 4k capable it only enhance the video of our feed to 4k resolution but it doesn't mean we broadcast a 4k resolution. We will pass along your feedback to the product team. We constantly strive to create the best possible experience and we value input from our fans.

Feel free to reply to this email or contact us at (800) 943-7602 if you have other questions or need further assistance.

Thanks,

I assume this is streaming? NESN is trying to get providers to pay more $$ for 4K to recoup the costs. No way they are going to give it away for free, then the providers can say why are we paying a premium for something your giving away?

I asked them about my provider,Xfinity, and I would say the response is less than honest.

Couple of new developments
Eyestream has added AHLTV to it's listing
And there's a new streaming service called Dynamo that's poaching Eyestream customers, apparently it's more user friendly, cheaper and a better quality, lots of Hockey including NHL Center Ice,NHL Network, TSN, AHLTV and CHL TV, I'm doing a 3 day free trial shortly and will report back,I've had very little issues with Eyestream so it's unlikely I'll leave but it's nice to have competition

Bringing this thread back for a question for the eyestream crew.

Has nesn worked for you at all this season? No matter what device I use it just won’t work. Luckily you can watch it on the centre ice channels but they don’t always carry the home broadcasts.

I switched out of Eyestream for Dynamo, same price, more channels, etc etc
Funky controls though
Anyways gave Eyestream the benefit of the doubt and they didn't deliver, NESN being the last straw
