...Yes, to anyone who has any geographical knowledge of the US, NC is well known to be a common target for hurricanes yearly.
Lol

yes, I'd love for my team to be named after something that requires google research

Literally nobody thinks of hurricanes when you say north carolina

No i totally agree, no fans in Canada. But will the American teams be barred from having fans at their home games when facing a Canadian team?

Why becasue your PM fumbled the vaccine roll out? No they will have fans in the US arenas for every game they play whether or not the team they are playing is allowed to or not. Its still pretty likely that the team that comes out of the North has to find a US home for the Semi's isnt it?

But you went with hurricanes

So you're familiar with the Outer Banks, but don't know they're hit by hurricanes every year?

Alright dude.

as in the weather of the entire south east

Seems to be that way if you dont think hurricanes hit the south eastern coast of the US multiple times a year and that places like the Outer Banks get evacuated almost every other year becasue of a hurricane. Just admit it and move on, the NHL team in Raleigh is named the Hurricanes because NC gets hit with a sizable storm every year.

He presented a dumb statement as fact, and when he was corrected, decided to move the goal posts, double down, and troll instead of taking the L. Literally couldn't find a better example of arguing on the Internet

odd that you can't refute these dumb statements with actual facts:huh:

When Toronto makes it to the round 3 and plays in Buffalo, the arena will probably be sold out as it should be. Massive number of fans will, and I applaud them, make the trip from Toronto. (Obviosly there is strong support locally too in Buffalo.) It is going to be an all-out insane atmosphere.

Obviously, Canada coud organize these games themselves, but they just do not seem to want to do so. Go figure.

Sure dude. Proof of concept falls on you.

Your claim is that "North Carolina doesn't hit by hurricanes." Go ahead and present your evidence.

Because mine is Isiasas in 2020, Dorian in 2019, Florence in 2018, etc. Or, as stated earlier, Fran in 1996, the year before the hockey team moved to NC and the main reason for calling the team the Hurricanes.
