Teams understand our bottom 6 is basically AHL crap,so its making our top 6 easier to defend against when you don't need to worry about the other lines
Sure, but our top 6 isn't good enough either against other teams' top defenders.

Thanks to Drury and Gordon for giving out NMC and NTC like candy. Great way to lower their trade value whatever that is. Fire Drury and sell the team Dolan

In the Montreal post-game thread I predicted Rangers would go 5-6 the rest of January.

They are off to an 0-3 start. Looking good.

Washington had two chances the whole third period, all this whining and nonsense. It sucks to lose but burying everyone because they finally have hit a rough patch is so lame. Truthfully I don’t think Quick is that good and I think it’s starting to show. That second goal from the side can’t happen.

They've been playing like shit for over a month now, their PP is falling back to earth, their PK has become a joke-and-a-half, our "best players" have become invisible and stupid again...this season (Zibs, Kreider), our defense and goaltending is battling it out as which f***ing sucks more.

Now, but please, do go on.
It has been a rough stretch and nothing is going right. I have seen 10 game stretches where Vegas, Colorado and Boston also looked like shit. Seattle was atrocious early in the season and has turned it around. This is what happens in an 82 game marathon season. It's game 41. I still think they will play better, especially when Kakko and Chytil return. All that matters is playing well in the spring as the playoffs approach.

This is the single worse idea in the history of this website. Congratulations.
I was going to say, even though I'm ripping Fox for his play on the third goal, I would never in a million years want to trade him LOL

do the people calling out Fox even watch hockey or just wait to bitch in the PGT? I’d strip Trouba of the C and give it to Fox if this dogshit continues. The guy is trying to do everything out there when the rest of his teammates are flat footed all day,
People always love to go apeshit over one turnover but at least he was trying something. It beats Miller never playing the body and just letting guys gain territory.

I don't think think Miller is irreparably soft or afraid of contact but this team's "always do the safe thing" vanilla ass culture has him in its grips.

Granted, I'm not saying do what Trouba does and go ten feet out of position, but aside from that, this whole team could use some more risk in their game.

You’re telling me Othmann with a little f*** you attitude couldn’t cut this baby shit soft roster? Like I said if they ruin him, I’m seriously evaluating my fandom. I couldn’t take another failed development. Especially since he’s exactly what we need. I won’t.
He was lost and I do mean completely lost in his 2nd game. I'd send him down too.

Mika and thr core would try to turn Othmann soft and passive where he'd request a trade.. get rid of this soft cofd passive group

I knew once Zibanejad returned, the version of Kreider we saw last game would vanish. I really liked how Kreider played during that Blues game in the absence of Zibanejad. Seemed so engaged, almost as if he felt more responsibility with Zib out? Who knows.

I know it has been brought up by some but I would like to see Kreider and Zib separated at 5 on 5. They can hold hands on the powerplay still or PK.

This stretch overall since the start of Dec has been pretty painful to say the least.

Not to mention that Panarin has regressed despite still picking up points. Panarin started out the season playing possessed like he had something to prove. He actually tried to hit the middle of the ice.

I mean I agree with the deep rooted softness with this core, but Fox is the last person I’m removing from the team. His good far, far, far outweighs his bad and it’s not even close.

If contracts didn’t matter Zibanejad would’ve been gone yesterday. He has to be one of the softest and least fiery players in the league. It feels like he couldn’t fight through tissue paper to win a puck battle.

There’s a lot of politeness to this core and a lot of what feels like apathy. It’s really weird.

This right here. I agree 100%.

This has been going on a few seasons now, with the exception of our goalies, who now have more holes than anyone after the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

This team ain't winning shit unless they manage to move some deadbeats from this team, and that too is an impracticality.

Problem is Shesterkin is worse.

Oh enough of the soft nonsense, some of you don’t even know what that means. Trouba wrecks everyone. Lindgren hits. Schneider hits. The whole league overall is soft, that’s the NHL today.
