Coyotes players refuse to play or re-sign?

I added another one with a screenshot of Keller’s dad tweet

Thanks. I don't think there is much to this aside from a salty dad who was too many beers in. Pretty cut and dry from NHL perspective, the players fail to report and are suspended without pay. Keller gives up significant earnings in the prime of his career.

And the other point is, how many players in Arizona are in a position to do this? He says many others, and yet the team is made up of NHLers clinging to their careers or trying to establish themselves.

All in all, this is nothing.

A chance for someone on HF to use "resign" correctly and it goes begging. What an opportunity missed.
I mean they can’t resign, can they ? They can re-sigh though

I wonder if he means they will demand a trade by the beginning of the season

Nothing like helicoptering parents on social media putting words on their millionaire adult kids’ mouths…

Don’t know if it’s even possible from the legal standpoint and how credible this is, but here we go

It also appears that he already deleted the tweets but the damage is done

Bryan Keller definitely will not be playing with the Coyotes next season, so glad he’s making a stand!

It’s hilarious because he talks as if *he* is Clayton Keller. He doesn’t even say “Clayton thinks this…”. His quote is basically I’m dad and I’m mad and I’m gonna keep Clayton home from practice until you make me happy!

No idea. I'd say "my company is forcing me to relocate several thousand miles or into another country for work and I don't want to do it" is valid grounds for resigning or quitting your job, but given the NHL operates as a franchise system where players can be traded, it probably isn't.

What other best players of a team have dads that are making bold statements on social media? That's brutal.

Are we sure this is even real? Looks young in that picture to have a 24-year-old son.

...sounds like Keller's Dad was hanging out with Nathan Beaulieu's Dad & Alex Galchenyuk's Dad too much...so Welcome to Montreal, Clayton Keller??...cuz they always seem to put up with that shyte...
