What makes you guys think things are going to change when Patches and TT are back? The incompetency within the system to regularly create organic high quality scoring chances through skill based plays has been evident for three years now. For once I’d like to this team to be a team that’s scary to play against. What’s the point in being one of the least aesthetically pleasing teams to watch in the league a la Devils of 20 years ago if they’re just going to fold and wilt in the offseason every year?

I mean adding a guy that paced for 39 goals last year and another player that put up 65 pts should make a difference…

When you have a guy like Noesen play on your 1st line and PP1, you know you’ve got a problem. Thankfully that problem solved itself when those guys are healthy.

TT sucked this year but we need some more east west creativity.

TT kinda just ignored Rod and did his own thing to good results.

The saucer out of the d zone worker in season past but this season its just a turnover machine.

Too much dump and chase and these little fellers can't win board battles and the old men can't get in position fast enough.

This ain't the 2019 roster.

At this point you’re calling it like it is. No sugar coating. Even as someone that is more in the optimistic side, I know we can’t candy coat this turd 💩. Things have to change for this to be more palatable. This is not good hockey.
That's my point. The first road trip we only beat struggling teams, and barely, while good teams opened up our weaknesses.
The PP is god awful and the puck movement is even worse than last year. Yeah it struggled, but Burns isn't half the passer that TDA is. It shows. Burns is also NO better defensively and may be worse. This may be the start of his parabolic downfall. Who knows but the dude looks slow. TDA gets burned because he over-commits or is more of a forward. Burns fails to clear things and is slow. Dougie is just kind of afraid to be hit. All OFD's have their flaws....

I can't help but think that KK was a huge ass mistake. He's done nothing but pass to empty spaces and fall down.

This is a piss poor TEAM with spatterings of skilled guys. Last year we were a great team with good players that had PP issues and an injured starting goalie. If the PP worked we would have beaten NY. If the PP worked and Andersen was on, we may have made it a series with colorado.

We BLEW that. period. The moves the front office made were shit. We have no 2C, the PP got even worse, we gave up a great PMD rfa for nothing, and broke up an amazing 3rd line that had some of the best chemistry of any depth line in the league because they were DUMB.

Whatever. Block me. Who f***in cares. But I'm not wrong and you all know it. We had the team last year and they made stupid ass moves.

This team is playing bad right now, there are a lot of invisible players out there. The ones who do care are squeezing their sticks so hard right now that I’m surprised they don’t explode in their hands. Then the 3 players who are actually scoring feel even more pressure, miss open nets or fire the puck into the logo of the goaltender. Aho, Slavin and Burns were all -3 tonight.

But hockey is a game of momentum, and sometimes just one good game can turn a season around. They need some invisible players to appear again. Getting Patches and TiVo back will help, but this team needs to relax and have some fun. I still believe that this is a good team playing bad, and that will change.

Here’s the truth about this game. If Svech doesn’t miss the empty net on the PP in the first this is a completely different game. They are t chasing the whole damn time.

The PP was set up perfectly and the$8 million dollar man missed a shot I wouldn’t miss. You want to point fingers, point em that way

I get it, but how much better are the results going to be if the 39 goal pacer and the 65 point man are dumping and chasing all game? What good is a sniper like Patches if the offensive zone has been deemed a no creativity and grind only zone? Obviously the doom and gloom seems a bit reactive, but all of these issues have been slowly creeping for years now. The idea that this team will course correct eventually and figure things out just feels a bit naive. What has Rod shown in his career as a coach to make anyone believe he’s capable of any kind of x’s and o’s or tactical adjustments. If “never stop working” isn’t cutting it anymore, I don’t see a magical fix.

You're more than welcome to do the same, slick. In fact all of you can. Because I am right. Sorry you can't deal with the fact I've been calling the fact we suck and are barely clinging on since the first road trip.
I don’t understand you being part of a community when all you want to do is bitch and then tell everyone to block you. Why are you here?

Cory asking the confidence question..I will give him some kudos for that one...the anger one, too.

Mimosas on tap for Friday...Happy Thanksgiving, y'all.
Was just thinking the same thing. Rod was a little dodgy on it but answered as expected. Not sure players getting angrier translates to goals. I just see more PK minutes for us 😖

What do we gotta do to get Jarvy going? I don’t think he’s played a bad overall game this season, but he just feels invisible offensively this year. Where last year I felt excited every time he had the puck.

I want to see them get angry and take it out on opponents....better than a sad weak loss.

Get him a big brother so he's not afraid of being concussed.

Missed the 3rd travelling to Charlotte...what'd I miss?
A 💩show

Me too but as I alluded to in my original post, I only see more dumb penalties than lighting the lamp. Sure, would be nice to level our opponents physically but we need goals right now.

Wow, we gave up 3 in the 3rd...lost 4-0 to an AHL team, shutout by a backup goalie, outshot them 36-27, 14 f***ing giveaways, AT HOME, 0 for 5 PP including 5-on-3... somehow we're getting worse each game

Everyone has a right to be livid right now and not having anything said to them about it. Unacceptable is on the kind side to describe it.

Dodgy..is a nice choice. RBA didn't exactly instill confidence in that presser to me. He looked like he was at a loss for words and solutions to me. I'd like to see some incremental changes or improvements from him.
