I don't get it, a University arena doesn't have enough locker rooms for 2 teams?
I must have missed something, because the 50 years old arena near my high school had more than 1 locker room...
Literally Gary Bettman reassuring everyone the NHL is healthy...
I would guess that they do, but are probably small and they felt it was better to temporarily repurpose a larger space. Could you imagine an entire NHL team, NHL staff, NHL equipment, plus whatever the league mandates the home team provide for visiting teams all crammed into the locker room of that 50 year old arena?
Phil Kessel regrets leaving Arizona nowAnd instead of meals, everyone gets a Twinkie before the game.
It's usually more entertaining that the Coyotes themselves.
Never gonna happen.

The league is 100% committed to making this work.
Y'know, just like they were committed to making it work in Hartford.
And Atlanta.
And Quebec City.
At least there's only 4 teams that have to enjoy those accommodations.
Winnipeg, New York (Rangers), Florida and Dallas all drew the short straws, I guess.
Not a big deal.
There's plenty of golf courses in Arizona and girls at ASU are HOT and always ready to mingle. Visiting players have plenty of amenities that make up for the lack of decor.
Atlanta due to the breakup of the Spirit Group didn't have a viable owner or arena. So, while there set-up was good, it became a mess since Spirit Group didn't want them in the arena, and there was no local buyer with plans to build a viable competiting arena. Hence why they essentially got a shotgun marriage to Winnipeg quite quickly.I dont get how the NHL allows a franchise to be in such a state that they dont have a professional sports venue to play at. I probably missed the 50 threads on this over the offseason but im still amazed and perplexed.
Id put this solely in the NHLs court of ineptitude. Really crazy.
Atlanta thrashers had a pretty good setup and they got sold and moved while this team doesnt even have a professional venue.
What in the hell...
(I really feel for yotes fans)
so this must be the best way to make money for everyone in the mid-long term.
