I don’t even want Geekie in the AHL. He’s best served by going back to the WHL.Did Doan and Geekie look NHL ready??
*no I don't know if they even played but couldn't resist this post based on arguments going on in other thread.

Looks like we didn't show up...Did we play Dallas today?
We had a skate around......Looks like we didn't show up...
Yea, but the way it looks no one told the players.Did we play Dallas today?
It's pretty normal these days for pre-season home team rosters to be significantly stronger than visiting team rosters. This is especially true right now with our entire NHL roster in Australia.Ivan Prosvetov basically gave up the farm. That dude's career in North America looks about over.
Giving up 7 goals on 50 shots is incredible great goaltending if those 50 shots were PS-level chances. I didn't watch either, but something tells me some of them were.Ivan Prosvetov basically gave up the farm. That dude's career in North America looks about over.
they might have all been 2-0 breakaways for Dallas with the Yotes going for a change at the same timeGiving up 7 goals on 50 shots is incredible great goaltending if those 50 shots were PS-level chances. I didn't watch either, but something tells me some of them were.
I agree… he showed last season when he played with the Yotes that he is prone to giving up a lot of goals in any given game. That said , the Yotes big problem in 23-24 is absolutely going to be shots against. write it down!Ivan Prosvetov basically gave up the farm. That dude's career in North America looks about over.
7 goal on 50 shots isn’t awful. We have no idea how he looked doing it.Ivan Prosvetov basically gave up the farm. That dude's career in North America looks about over.

well, hmm. that changes things a bit.50 shots on goal total. Prosvetov had 22 saves on 26 shots (.846 SV%) and was replaced with Matt Villalta who allowed 3 goals on 24 shots (.875%).
Looks like he was outplayed by Villalta a bit, but neither were able to make up for the rest of the team's mistakes.
