I mean Tony’s bad rap comes from being outspoken about his beliefs. I know he had some stuff in juniors, but haven’t heard much about that sense. I don’t think it’s a bad look if Arizona re-claims a player that they lost a couple years ago that has recently shown that he can provide a glaring deficiency.

I don't think they will for that very reason. Our luck would be him coming in, the PP look great for a couple games then we cut him because the organization folds to cancel culture criticism and we're stuck with the cap hit.

It’s not cancel culture

if you have a 24 man roster (and staff), and 23 of the guys cannot get along with the one guy, you appease the overwhelming majority.

TD and Domi were shipped out of here for a reason. You’re now seeing these guys get moved AGAIN and AGAIN. They’re f***ing assholes. players, coaches, and staff can’t get along with them. This isn’t some way to maneuver their cap or avoid paying “what they deserve”. They’re legitimately just awful teammates.

Mete plays both sides, can take dzone starts, is dirt cheap and is 22. I would love to have this player to avoid a scrambly summer and to free up trading Goose/Goligoski/Hammer even sooner.

How BA feels about the personalities of all the guys in rumors is going to play a big part of AZ even asking about them. That's nice to know.

They are playing well right now, not going to make a trade just to make a trade.

I don't think BA is in any hurry to make a trade. I hope he is valuating what we have/need and then make a trade. Unless of course a great trade becomes available, but Mete doesn't do that for me.

Rumor is Tony got into an fight with a teammate during the post game, not surprising given his reported behavioral problems in the AHL and OHL. Obviously the guy has had long standing mental issues which are going unchecked, I would call the "right" getting rid of him in the first place.
