BA sure has his hands full this offseason and starts it without an AGM.That's why RT should have been gone last year. We would have had a new coach with the players for a year to evaluate. Anyways, I guess BA was doing that with coach and players and his first move was getting rid of RT. We have some good pieces here moving forward, but to many of the same pieces. BA knows he has to change the mix, and if that means trading a good player so be it.
Hire an AGM
Hire a HC
Expansion Draft (although AZ should have it easier than most)
Draft without a 1st Rd pick
Replace 4 spots on the blue line
Get the Garland contract done
All while changing the culture, cleaning up the mess the former GM left while dealing with an ownership group that “sure as sh*t” wants to win but has no experience in running a professional sports franchise and early indications that they’re not an easy group to work for.
